enchantment of the seas/5 night western caribeean cruise

can anyone please tell me anything positive about their experience or negetavie

My husband and I cruised on a 7 day Bermuda Cruise on the RCL Nordic Empress. It was a Blast. I have nothing Negative to say about RCL. We are planning to cruise with them again in 2005. I recommend them strongly. Hope this helps.:D

RCCL, particularly Voyager class ships, would be our 2nd choice to DCL....Once my younger DS is older, we will probably try Mariner of the Seas...

We cruised on the RCCL Monarch for a 4 day cruise. I really enjoyed it, other than the small size of the cabins.
It was of course, not Disney, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

I could've typed these exact words!!!! ::yes:: Our very first cruise was just this past summer aboard Royal Caribbean's Nordic Empress, to Bermuda. We loved the ship and cruising in general so much that we decided to take our DSs on a cruise next summer and that's when we chose Disney. However, we have another adults-only cruise planned for summer of 2005 aboard Royal Caribbean's Voyager of the Seas which will be a 9-night Caribbean/Bahamas cruise out of NYC. That means no flying for us :hyper:

I have relatives who've cruised other Royal Caribbean ships and they highly recommend those as well!

the interior staterooms, look very very small, on the RCCL, ENCHANTMENT OF THE SEAS.

I am going to get 2 rooms, one for me and one for my mother
this will give me 2 queen beds, 2 tv sets and bathrooms.

if anyone has a better strategy, please tellme.

what is bathroom, like. a sink, a toilet and a small shower, on a Interior stateroom, on the RCCL ENCHANTMENT OF THE SEAS

KANSAS,

some statistics for the Enchantment ..

Inside staterooms (cat's M, N, O, P, Q) = 140 sq. ft
Inside staterooms (cat K, L) = 146 sq. ft
Ocean view (cat's F, H, I) - 154 sq. ft.
Balcony's - Cat D=190 sq. ft , Cat C=245 sq. ft , Cat B=349 sq. ft

For comparison,
DCL cat 10 (inside) = 214 sq. ft.
DCL cat 8, 9 (ocean view)= 214. sq. ft
DCL cat 5, 6 (verandah) = 268 sq. ft.

We have sailed on the Voyager-class ships and loved every minute. THe cabins are a little bigger thatn the older RCCL ships.

what can u tell me about RCCL Bathrooms
a sink, toilet and small shower??

We sailed the 5 night Enchantment in August and can not even tell you how much we loved it. I am very picky when it comes to ships, we love DCL and Voyager and Radiance class RCCL, but we were taking my sister in law as a gift and having to pay for the extra person made us choose Enchantment. We liked the itinerary and the price was right. I was very hesitant and decided to just have a good time and not get my expectations too high. I found on another cruise message board that everyone spoke very highly of Enchantment so I decided not to worry about it anymore.

We had the BEST time... the rooms are smaller than DCL and yes the bathroom is just a sink, toliet and shower, but the ship was great. It was in very good shape (up keep was amazing), the crew was very friendly and helpful, there was plenty to do onboard... We truly enjoyed every minute of the trip (well ok except when we had to leave). I have to say that in 15 cruises Enchantment was my 3 favorite ship...with the Brilliance of the Seas (RCCL Radiance Class ships) being number one, DCL (Wonder and Magic together since they are similar as #2) and Enchantment as #3. It was a very relaxing vacation and I would not hesitate one bit to sail on that ship again... We loved it :)

I'm thinking about taking a 4 night cruise on the Enchantment in March 2005 - glad to hear it's a great choice. Any suggestions on the best stateroom category to book? We'll probably want a porthole room. Thanks! :earsboy:

The rooms are all kinda small (compared to DCL) as you can see from mac_tlc's post above, but the ship is great. We actually had a Cat C, it was a last minute upgrade so we had a room about the same size as a Disney room. I can overlook the average size of the room for the service and they are top notch on the Enchantment. The entertainment was good, the food was good, the service was good and the ship was really nice.
