Ok, the more I think about it, I'm going to call them in the morning. This is clearly a flaw in the design so let me try to work so magic and see what I can come up with.

Another thing...they quoted you $14.95...what the heck? LOL....they need to decide what the prices are for the replacement seats.

Been busy with a new job today. Soooo sorry to see number 5 is having issues I can donate something, but i would rather wait till closer to my trip and have the stroller make it longer. This is so rediculous, i mean really, In Step needs to fix this issue with the backboards!! Maddi, you are a doll for trying to get this sorted out!! and to all the other swappers helping to make the strollers last for everyone

Hey everyone! Just popping in to say hello! Been a hectic week with my lil one's 2nd bday and Father's Day but i think I've finally caught up with all the posts!! We have a great group of swappers here! It's so nice when people come together to do things that help others.

WOW...that is a HUGE difference on what we have been paying vs what they are now! FOr that price, they had better fix the flaw in them because they do seem to be made very flimsy...KWIM?

Last known, there was a mommy hook, no storage bag which isn't a big deal, there is a rain cover and there is a storage basket underneath.

The fan will work on the side plastic bar coming down. That is where I put it last year when we used the stroller because we didn't use the front bar. DD was bigger and we didn't need the front bar.

Yes, it was a bit of a price difference. But it is ok. I am just praying and hoping that we have some luck with this one and it actually stays together!

Thanks for the tip on the fan. I am going to see if I can find one tomorrow. So far I have not had the greatest luck in finding one.

I think the variance in the prices in the stroller seat backs is due to the fact taht there are different types of strollers in the fleet? I originally asked about model number listed under swap #1 and then realized swap #5 had a different model number listed, which may account for the differences in prices??? Just a thought...
We will be arriving in Orlando on the 5th and since the stroller will be in storage, I can head on over and try and pick it up that evening (since we were going to try and pick up our tickets that night anyway) and work on the backboard problem then...duct tape, wood glue or whatever...and then just sew the cover back together. Just let me know what you want me to do. You have my contact info, right? You can call me beforehand if need be. Thanks for all your help!

Just caught up from a busy weekend and a very long double shift.
I cannot believe that the backboard on #5 is broken.
Let me know if there is anything I can do

We are scheduled to have #5 the end of July and beginning of August. If a new backboard is still on backorder and it would save some wear on the stroller, I can stroller sit #5 and switch to swap #1 instead. It is available during our stay. That may help keep #5 in better shape until it can be fixed.

I bought the one I found at Gander Mountain. I totally wouldn't have thought to look there, but they had watershoes on sale and I was wandering around. It's a clip on fan with the foam blades and it was only $4.99!

I didn't even think about what I could do to reinforce it! I'm going to the store today for some duct tape! My husband's pretty handy, I'll see what he can come up with too!

I am in line for #5 in August, I am going to bow out on this one. Just got back from my DDs' yearly checkups and they are a combined weight quite over the limit of 100 #'s and I cannot in good conscience ask to use the stroller, especially given the difficulties with the seats. Thanks for the opportunity to participate in this share,you guys are quite the supportive community and I will miss reading this thread. Good luck making it through the rest of the year, at least my monster kids won't kill it before it's time..

thank you for worrying about the strollers more than saving $$. I truly and sincerely appreciate your honesty! I'm hoping soon to have #5 up and in great condition again.

I wasn't able to call today. I didn't get off work on time then another issue came up and I'm working on it. But I will be calling and seeing what I can come up with tomorrow.

Starrynt said that taped them to the stroller but they couldn't find it. I can see how easily things could lost because nothing was tagged. They tried to give me at least 5 different strollers(none tagged) before they finally brought the right one out. I was also supposed to babysit # 2 but there is no way I can fit that sucker in my SUV along with 7 passengers and the other stroller. Dear hubby almost had a coronary when I told him we had to take it. What would you like me to do about # 2 Maddi?
By the way, today was awesome! Spent the afternoon in AK with no crowds cause the rain drew them away. Practically no wait times!

OK, I am totally confused...lol. I had a PM #2 was lost and tried calling you and been on the phone locating the wrong stroller...ughhh. So it was #1 that was missing and not #2? BUt they found #1 but not the accessories and #2 is where?? Still at CBR??

Good to know that you were able to find the stroller. It sounded a little hectic when you called

Please keep us informed of the status of the accessories. My family and I are leaving early this Saturday and I could possibly pick some things up before we leave.

Does it have the sun shade? Are we talking about a missing mommy hook, fan, etc?

Uh oh....apparently I am quite confused. I was under the impression that the swapper before me was mickeymom24. That is who I spoke with and made arragements with.

So if she is not the swapper before me...then who is now? Where do I pick up the stroller?
