I wanted to comment, our girls managed to fall asleep several times in the stroller in the same seat position that I left it in for the week.

I didn't change the seat because it was in a good position not because of any concerns with it.

Most of the time it was the youngest but also our oldest did a couple of times too. Our youngest was almost always asleep by the time we got back to the room on our evenings out. But also during the day in the parks, our youngest is missing from several photopass pics as she was sound asleep in stroller!!

If I was more computer savy I could send you a picture of her sleeping, as I thought I should document how she (DD2) spent her first trip to WDW!!:rotfl:

Thanks...I'll be watching for the pixs :)

If anything comes in after ryan840 has it I'm sure my hubby can do it he's an engineer after all and pretty handy with a screwdriver, even though he has been electricuted a couple of times:scared1:. Actually my 5 year old will probably tell him he can do it too he is the handy manny guy around my house, loves his tools. Hopefully it will be in for ryan840 though, that seatbelt is important for those little ones. Just let me know if you need my help. You are always working so hard at keeping this swap going parkers mamma I don't know how you do it. Thank you again.

:thumbsup2 Wonderful. If the seat doesn't make it before Ryan840 leaves, then I will ship it to you.

OK...even though there are times I want to hang my DH up by his toes and beat him with a smart stick...he can be Mr. Wonderful other times.

That Darling DH of mine worked 5 hours last night on Old #4. He knows how upset I was with it being "tired" and how much everyone depends on the swap-tho he doesn't understand our Disney Passion.:lmao:

He put new bearings in the back wheels, re-welded the front wheel, fixed the front wheel fork, and polished up old #4. It is working just like new. I'm going to pick up the bicycle tape tonight for the handlebar and take off the seat to take it in to get repaired. Looks as tho we do have a back up in #4 plus the new seat did arrive for old #5 (which Debraw76 has right now) so we are all set.

So after I buy the bicycle tape and goo-be-gone (never even heard of this stuff-hopefully it is at wal-mart), I'll ship it down to Ryan 840 and thos issues will be taken care of on #1 and #2.

Just to get those seats repaired and the strollers are up to standards. Wahooooo! Heck, If I can get a new seat for #2 today...I might try just getting another one for #1. Can't hurt to ask! :)

Ugh, I hate to do this, but I need to change our dates. A stroller is available, so I've emailed you the new dates. I saw on another thread this morning that I could trade a timeshare in on a DVC. I checked and was able to get a 2br villa at AK rather than the little room we had. I hate making changes once something is done, but it ended up being cheaper and gives us 3 more days, so I couldn't not do it, right?

Thanks for your hard work! I'd be banging my head against the desk daily!

:cheer2:

I would like to request stroller five for our upcoming trip to Pop arriving June 7. I don't have enough posts to send a PM, so hopefully someone will see this while I work on my posts. JUne 6 is the first open date for stroller 5, so I am thinking it will already be at Pop? HOpe to hear from someone soon!
Thanks!

:lmao: This is exactly how my two (DS3 and DD5) have been sleeping too!!! I haven't even tried to lower it yet, but I will test it out. But the stroller looks comfy enough that the two have had no problem falling asleep together:hug: even though they cant stand the sight of each other sometimes.

I hope you are having a great time (and great weather!) It looks like we're going to have good weather next week too!

Everything updated on the swaps.

Still working on the seat--no news is good news :)

Welcome to the swap! Just use our thread to post random smilies and get your post count up. We don't mind! Then send Parkers*Momma a PM.

Wow! I haven't checked in for 1 1/2 days and boy you all have been BUSY BUSY BUSY!

I know you want to know what I was doing. After all, what could be more important than the DIS? (Dang I'm addicted!)

I was making my photo book on Shutterfly from my Disney trip! Oh it is really cool. Can't wait to get it. I've spent the last 3 days and many many many hours on it. Why the crunch? I got a coupon for a free photo book, a $29.99 value, that expires today. Who could pass that up. So I had to finish it.

Well, I got so caught up in it, added more and more pages, that free wasn't so free when I finished! I had 36 pages total which was 16 pages over the limit. $1 per extra page plus shipping/tax = $27. Well not too bad. I saved $29.99! (This is how I normally shop - it was on sale! Look how much I saved! I know you all are just like me!)

Anyway, I'm back. Parkers*Momma - your DH rocks! I thought you said he wasn't handy? What a guy. Is he trying to redeem himself for changing his mind on the Disney trip? Give Old RC 4 a hug for me (that's a little CRAZY sounding, isn't it?).

Good night RC Swappers!

HAHAHA You did notice I said FIVE HOURS. :lmao: There were parts laying all over the place and I'm thinking "OHHHHH CRAP!" But it is pushing really nice and now to get the seat fixed and it's ready to go back to Florida if needed.

CRUDE! I forgot about the free book! I was going to jump on it then got involved in the stroller issues and taxes. :( Hopefully another deal will come along like that. Isn't it fun being creative with those books? That is addictive too. :)

We lowered the seat for our kids to sleep and it worked well. Here's a pic of my 5 year old and one of my 3 year olds sleeping in it (you can see my other 3 year old trying to kick his brother awake). They slept very well in the stroller:

how precious!!

It really doesn't look as tho there is a string issue. Looks good to me :)

Ladies,

Good news...actually great news!

I just got off the phone with INSTEP. I have three..yes THREE new seat coming for #1, #2, and old #4. I had to purchase them BUT it was cheaper to purchase and ship the entire seat than to buy the seat covers. BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

The seat covers were $20 each with $10 in shipping just for the one stroller. But to order all three seats, it was a total of $48.00 and that includes shipping! How cool is that!

They are being shipped out today, should be here by Monday/Tuesday. I'll make sure they fit on old #4 and if it does, I'll be shipping the new seat for #1 and #2 and bicycle tape for #1 and #2 out to Ryan840. She has graciously offered to fix them up so Ryan840 pack a phillips screwdriver for the seat and scissors for the tape in your checked baggage :)

hygienejean--I was hoping to have everything taken care of before you arrived. I could overnight the items to you at WDW but even with overnight, they probably won't get into your hands until 24/25th because they have to go through Disney Central. I know only one seatbelt has the bubblegum--I could mail you out the goo-be-gone and have it waiting for you at WDW. But for the dirty seats, I can only suggest the towel trick that was previously posted. I wish there was more I could do. If you have any suggestions, let me know. :)

Parkers*Momma - you are simply amazing :worship:

Are you playing hooky? A good day for it! I don't know about you, but it's going to be 65 here!!! FINALLY! :cool1:

Have a great day!

DD is home with the flu. She has waited three weeks for pajama day at school and today was the day.

I ended up having to switch shifts (which I hate) so now I'm working 3-12.:sad1: Plus it's a nice day outside and I'm in the house with a sick baby...this bites!

Not a problem. I will use the towel trick. I was initailly worried about the strap in the back but a couple of the previous swappers said they had no problem so I think we will be okay. :goodvibes Is Miprender back yet? Hope she had fun!
