I know , I am a little nervous, we do have a TV in the van and my husband plans to drive at night mostly. We saved our change for the last year in one of those plastic coke banks and told our kids that when it was full we would be going to see Cinderella's castle. It was full and so it was time to plan, however we did not realize how expensive WDW tickets were, so it was either fly and don't go to Disney or drive....

We are scheduled to check in on the 20th. However, depending on if we leave the 18th or 19th and the driving schedule, we could be there on the 19th.

I would walk if it meant the difference of going or not! You are talking about a total disney nut here...lol.

Even when I sleep...it isn't the normal ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...it's more like WDWWDWWDWwdwwdwwdw.

Your lil ones are going to be so excited and with gas prices as they are ($1.64 in NW Ohio today)....it's going to save you big time!

Well thank you. I am glad that I found this spot. I was worried about only having the one stroller! My five year old can barely make it around the block with out whining! This is really a great idea! then I found Disboards and learned so much. Free dining, shipping water, packing secrets, shipping snacks, fridge/stroller swaps....now we can do wdw every year....lol..for less than 1/2 the money.

Wait till you try this stroller. I have 5 children and only wish I would have experienced the ease of this stroller when all of them were little. It's sooooo easy to handle. Back when my oldest 4 were babies....strollers were tanks!

Boy you have your hands full! We drive from MI, (straight through) so far about 5 times. We only have a 3, 5, and 7 year old.

Yep, we fly so I ship water, snacks, and a small cooler via UPS. Even with the UPS charge it was cheaper than Disney prices. You used to be able to order a case water from staples and have them ship it to your resort for less than $7.00 total. I think you still can from Costco...though I haven't tried them.

17-18 hours from Detroit. Ohio (sorry if I offend anyone) is the worst. So long and boring. Tennessee can get pretty foggy.
A good half way point is Atlanta. An interesting stop would be Gatlinburg. Just my opinions, we haven't stopped overnight in a long time. Dh and my schedules work out for the drive.

Wow, if you have any other interesting tips I would love to hear them! I am sorry if I am taking over the conversation. I am just nervous about the trip and am trying to suck all of the advice I can out of everyone!
