If you're looking for a family cruise this summer or fall, there are some amazing deals to be had. I just put Allure of the Seas on hold for Thanksgiving week for $2174 for our family of four. That's an unheard of price-- especially for a holiday. We were going to visit the mouse, but this may be too good a deal to pass up. We might be able to add a short trip to WDW either before or after and pull the kids from school for a few days. Anyhow-- definitely worth checking out!

Where did you book? I keep seeing Orbitz or Priceline offers for KSF but then when you price, you are charged full price. I didn't see anything on RCL page?

Whoops...found it

Thanks for posting. I had just looked at RC this morning and saw $0 pp for 3rd and 4ths and I thought it was a mistake.

There was one cruise date I wanted and it was in there. The 1-2 pp price is higher than yesterday, but it's still cheaper with this sale.

btw it is 3rd and 4th sale free, not just kids, so adults can get this deal too if they stay in the same cabin.

We booked Allure over Thanksgiving!!! And DH had the brilliant idea to pair it with a visit to Harry Potter world. And my parents are coming :). SO excited!

It says 3rd person free until I select a stateroom and then it adds the 3rd person cost to the total. Am I doing something wrong?

I missed where the $389 for DD's fare was removed later on. :) Definitely will talk to DH when he wakes up. We've been casually talking about a cruise this summer and this might clinch the deal. :)

Wow. The 5 night cruise that I was looking at is coming out to $1670 for the four of us in a balcony cabin! And that would give us a few extra days to go to Universal and check out the new Potter stuff.
I'm just not ready to make a decision yet though. I don't know if Dh will be able to take vacation then until he submits a request and waits to see the schedule in April.

ETA) But maybe I should book. I still have ample time to cancel if he can't get the week we'd want. Decisions decisions!

7 night Oasis eastern $5400 for 6 of us in an ocean view! That seems pretty good to me. Never sailed before. Off to research ships. Interestingly the freedom was about $2000 more for the same room category!

Are you all in one room? I can't find on their site where 5 of us can do 1 room...

There are family ocean view rooms that sleep 6 (tightly) but still 6. You have to call, those are not allowed online bookings. I was told because you have to have at least 5 in the room,:confused3

Thanks. They shoot themselves in the foot b/c I hate calling places!

I agree! I was told They do that because if 3 people book the smaller room they are paying less for it if 6(with the exception of kids sailing free). Annoying and I didn't see that at first either.

Am I missing something? I went on Royals page and when i price it out it is charging full price for person 3-4 even up to the point where I have to put a credit card hold on it.

Some of the sailings are already sold out for KSF rooms. The Allure Thanksgiving sailing that we booked yesterday morning sold out of the promotional rooms by yesterday evening, although some people have reported spotty availability in certain categories. You might want to try a different ship or sail date and see if you can still find a deal :thumbsup2.

Our family of 4 and our friends' family of 4 just booked Freedom of the Seas this morning. Since 3 out of 4 of our children are counted as adults but still free due to the promotional sale, this was a great deal for us! Gonna miss my Disney trip though...

You might not miss it as much as you thought. :)

Yeah, I'm kind of over not doing Disney this fall. I will wait until all this FP+ stuff has been completely sorted out, and then we'll go-- maybe Spring of 2015 or Fall 2015. I'm still STOKED about our Allure cruise :cool1::cool1::cool1:, and our little trip to Universal before hand. Disney will always be there for about the same price, but I'll never get all four of us on Allure on a holiday week for under $2200!
