Roxymama's 5k to Marathon, Time to Collect Another Castle

12 days!! OMG!!

(Also ... some people on here should have their internet privileges revoked. I once got severely criticized for disagreeing with someone who is apparently considered all-knowing (something I didn't know about) ... happens to be, I was right and the "expert" was wrong. But that was the last time I got involved in board matters without being specifically pulled in by someone who knows me (I've had people tag me in as a kosher expert, so I answer those questions (because I happen to know a lot about kosher at Disney), but I don't get involved unless someone specifically brings me in)).

Looked up the dining thread - boo! What is that about? Really too bad because Disney is supposed to be happy, and planning should be happy, and these boards should be a way to spread the joy and the information. Your experience and your post were helpful - no reason for that response you received.

We attended a family wedding in Vegas (yep!) and ate lunch at a buffet where ages 10 and up were charged some crazy adult price. The cashier asked @mateojr his age, he answered honestly. The cashier took another look at him (he's super tiny and eats like a bird) laughed, and said, "no way, little boy, you are nine years old today!" Under the analysis on the dining thread, we should not have accepted - we should have insisted that he pay full price! (Actually, he did for a while, but the cashier just smiled and completed the transaction.)

On to Tink!!! I'm hoping for warm weather here so that I can get my "in honor of Tink and Corral B" outfit ready for my local half! :)

Wow, matching the castle AND the mile markers. I bow down to your fashion prowess :worship:

Although I have my total outfit picked out, I still don't know exactly what I am. Maybe you all can vote and tell me the best choice. Or I could just change my answer anytime anyone asks me (not that anyone will.)
So if I have a Blue and Pink shirt, blue headband with pink flowers, a blue skirt, white wings (maybe), and pom poms on my feet. Then that makes me???

1) A water fairy
2) THE Blue Fairy (pinocchio)
3) A stitch fairy
4) Aurora - but the blue version
5) Eeyore fairy
6) perriwinkle the frost fairy from hell
or??? just roxymama?

Tomorrow is my ADR day for Halloween/Food n Wine/Wine n Dine. I have come to terms with deciding on ADRs being more difficult than tempo runs and thus by accomplishing my ADRs in the morning...any tempo running that evening will seem like child's play in comparison? Yes?
So some places on the list (keep in mind most all of these choices are 100% because of my soon to be 5 year olds birthday and less about adult dining...that's what the Food n Wine booths are gonna be for!!!!!!)

ADR places
Yak n Yeti
Be Our Guest breakfast or lunch
Mickey's Backyard BBQ Cat 1
Bon Voyage breakfast (with Flynn!)
Minnie's Hollywood and Dine dinner
O'Hana dinner (maybe?)

Non ADR places
Geyser Point at WL
Satuli Canteen
Food n Wine Booths
Chicken nuggets and pizzas and hot dog places I'm sure

Have any of you gone to Whispering Canyon that enjoyed it? I'm guessing it could fit in somewhere since we are staying at the WL, but not sure yet.

What do you mean JUST roxymama? :sad2:

I vote for option (6)

I did go to Whispering Canyon for breakfast once - food was good and my BFFs and I weren't in the mood for antics, and our server thankfully picked up on that. Haven't been there for dinner. :confused3

I really don't feel like I can make an informed vote without actually seeing the outfit...but I understand if you are saving the "reveal".

I love ADR time...although I don't know why, because I end up changing my mind 50x before the trip anyways.

Haha, Ok sorry...I forget that I shouldn't use the word "just"!

And one vote for frost demon-fairy added to the tally.

I worry about Whispering Canyon because my kiddo would be TOO INTO THE ANTICS. And I'm not sure my or my husband's brains can handle 500 bottles of ketchup on our table or giant coke jugs. We are kind of neat freaks when it comes to tables at restaurants. Hubby calls it his "aesthetic equilibrium" ...he says it's thrown off when there are straw wrappers on a table, etc. :)

I think I'll do either a "flat me" or a try on pic tonight and post it. I have yet to actually try the whole shebang on.

And yes, I've changed my ADR plans several times already just yesterday so heaven help me for next few months.

I also vote number 6. But I reserve the right to change my vote until I see it all together.

I actually still need to decide the bottoms for my outfits. Lol. Shirts are done but totally undecided on what skirts to wear.
