Hi all,
My family will soon be making our first trip to Disneyland Paris, and I'm planning our routes through the park. it's not clear to me from the maps if it's possible to walk directly between Peter Pan in Fantasyland and Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland, or if you need to go between the lands via Central Plaza.

Can someone confirm please?

Perfect, thank you! I am a bit of an obsessive planner and need to have a complete action plan in my head before we get there :)

We have small kids (4 + 5 years old), my plan for the first day looks like this (getting there for the start of EMH):

Start with Fantasyland
Dumbo
Peter Pan
Blanche-Neige
Pinnochio
Teacups
Alice's Labyrinth

Then across to Adventure Land:
Pirates of the Caribbean
Lunch @ Blue Lagoon

Then back to Fantasyland
Sleeping Beauty's Castle
It's a small world
Casey Jr.
Les Pays des Contes

Then dinner at Steakhouse before we head back to the hotel.

Any comments or suggestions much appreciated!

Sounds like a great plan! My only comment would be that with kids of that age, be prepared for it to go out the window when they decide they want to ride the carousel 10 times in a row :-)

It's great having a rough plan to make sure you see and do all the things most important to you, but it can sometimes be stressful if you can not be a bit flexible once you are there - kids, crowds, ride breakdowns - lots of things can effect your day

Have a brilliant trip!

i would add in buzz lightyear's lazer blast in EMH too - for the first hour of EMH you usually find the rides are pretty much walk-on :).

To put the size of the main park in perspective - you can walk from one extremity in Fantasyland back to the park turnstiles in no more than a 15-minute toddle - same with the width of the park, from say Star Tours in Discoveryland to Critter Corral at the back of Frontierland :).

I don't know if this was a one-off or if it is a regular occurrence, but when I was in DLP in September 2012, Snow White and Pinocchio didn't open until the afternoon (around 2pm)…obviously this probably won't be the case for your trip but just in case! :)

I'd recommend the Carousel in Fantasyland as well during EMH, the music really gets you in the Disney mood.

Last week the only rides open during EMH were the carousel, teacups and Dumbo in fantasyland, and Buzz, Orbitron and Space Mountain in Discoveryland. And because so few rides were open the queues seemed just as long as normal (all 20 mins+)!
