Roundtrip Santa Monica and DLR-best a.m. route

My dd-23 just arrived in Santa Monica last week and is joining me for a Monday and Tuesday October 17/18 at DLR (so excited!). She is going to be driving from Santa Monica on a Monday morning and wants to arrive around noon (for MHP) and she's leaving on a Wednesday morning and needs to be back by 10:30 a.m. for a class.

What routes do you suggest she take and what time for each drive. Thank you so much...those LA freeways are so confusing to us Northern Californians .

405 -> 105 -> 605 -> 91 -> 5

She should just use Waze to figure out the best route that morning. It'll tell her the fastest route at that time.

Use Waze. Sometimes the 110 is better than the 605, but you won't know until you're almost there. And depending on where she is in Santa Monica there are multiple options to get to the 405, or she may be better off going directly to the 105. She should allot 1 hour to get to DLR and 90 minutes to get back to Santa Monica.
