rounded end forks?

So our licence lady insists that we get rounded end forks or use plastic forks! I have been all over looking for rounded end reusable forks or resusable plastic ones but no luck, Any ideas?
ETA: the fork thing is to prevent injuries

My kids' daycare only has spoons, and it's never been a problem. Hefty Zoo Pals has plastic silverware for kids. The tips are still pointy, but the ends are broader and don't come to a sharp point. I think they would probably be on the pricier side of plastic silverware.

I did a search on amazon for 'baby forks' and found over 12,000 items. I'd start there and look at the bestsellers. You could also check places that sell baby things (Target, Walmart, BabiesRUs, etc). I think most grocery stores even carry a small selection of forks and spoons for kids in the diaper/baby food aisle.

I think OP works in a daycare...so my guess would be the inspector from the state that renews the daycare license.

If you're near an Ikea, they have sturdy re-useable plastic kids silverware for a decent price. I think it was 6 forks/spoons/knives for $2. We use them for DD and DH to pack in their lunches and our set is at least 3 years old and still going strong.

Amazon has some by several mfrs., do a search on their site for "safety fork" in the Baby & Kids category.

If you find a style that you like, I'd call your usual supply house and send them over the Mfr. info and a photo, and have them see about getting a bulk price direct from the manufacturer.

I think I am glad that I am no longer doing home child care. We used real, regular forks from a pretty early age and the children, staying seated at the table, learned to safely and correctly use the fork. I am truly the safety police but this seems a little mic-managing! Sorry Op. I know you have to follow the rules. You have gotten some great ideas. Home you find what you need.
