Round 24 - scrapping with swapped items

Thank you everyone for the kind words!

ZTH~ how cool is it that you used those photos with your DC set!
I made those and Banana has her postcard up in her room!:hippie:
Great pages and I love how you used so many of the lyrics swap pieces!

Did you make that set? I loved it!!! It is sooo pretty, and I've never seen embellishments like that.

made by yours truly!!!

Love seeing pics in the pages. I used these for DD's singleton trip and SDV 2008. It worked out really well. I have a few pages to fill in but 90% of them are done!

Yay! I've added you as the creator now!!! It's a great page.

ZTH, all your pages look great and you did a great job using swap pieces from a different swaps on the same page. And, yes, that lyrics piece on the first page is mine! Thanks for using it!!!!!

Thanks for sharing your pages AZ and ZTH. I really enjoy looking at what you come up with using swap stuff. It makes me want to get moving and do some scrapping.

Updated to here - great pages everyone!:goodvibes Once again weekend "wasted" getting DS16's bedroom further forward. Got all the wardrobe packages in Ikea (but failed to get DH to agree I needed some fancy storage boxes:sad2: he said I'd still be messy but with more boxes:rotfl2:), Dh is building it this week so just need the bed really and its done.

Mazda, miss seeing you! I know youve been busy! I will be sending you a "Shove youre oar" pm real soon!

ZTH~the corner embellies were actually cut from the same as everything else.
It was a paper that looked like there were already photo corners on it and I had one of those rare creative moments!
Thanks for using them!

I dont want to do Alaska! I want to play with my Dis pieces! (insert stamping foot smilie here!)

Really?!!?! :scared1: That's sooo awesome! I thought they were store-bought. You are amazing.

Here is one entry.. it's simple as that is the way I wanted it.. the pieces are from Rebecca in the color swap...

Nice page Nan! I too would like to know what's on the
white tags.

It's nan's word. I'd love to do a page on my word.

Great page Nancy!!! What is listed on the white tags at the bottom?

The tags on the bottom are things that I need my STRENGTH for... my one word challenge. It was the 9 things I felt most important.

Is that Storybook for the title Nan?

Cool use of fiber. :thumbsup2

Yes, that is Storybook. It's actually a page map sketch! How about those apples! :hippie:

Updated to here! Rita, if you let me know the dates you'll be in London I'll book a day off so we can have a lovely long lunch - I've got a nice old place to take you:thumbsup2

Hey Mazda!
Instead of pming you Im going to ask this question here so that if anyone asks me I can refer them here.

How do you get to DLP? What trains/planes, ferrys do you take?
We are having a heck of a time figuring out Dover to DLP and I told DH I would ask you.

We leave Phoenix on Tues June 8th and arrive London on the 9th. Our ship sails on the 12th and I would absolutely LOVE to have lunch with you!
I cant believe its just over 4 months!

Easiest way if you don't have a car is Eurostar from St Pancras direct to DLRP! If the direct trains are booked, just a Eurostar to Paris (2 hours or so) and then the RER (local train) to DLRP - drops you right between the park and the hotels. We did it that way first time we went.

If you do have a car, we take le shuttle (Eurotunnel) then drive to DLRP - from us its about 1 1/2 hours or less to the tunnel, 20 mins crossing then (I think) 4 hours to DLRP. Ferry is cheaper, but the channel can be very rough and none of us are that good with that  But if you don't speak french stick to the Eurostar as the announcements are in English as well.

ETA you can fly from any London airport to Paris (London City is most convenient if you're in central London) but the airport is a long way from DLRP. The reain is the best and as check-in etc. is shorter doesn't actually take any longer than flying.

I've got 2 more pages!!!!!

The topper, one photomat, and the journal box were made by me for the Everyday Swap last year.

The 2 photomats and the 4 embellished squares were made by Mazda in, I think, the School Swap.
