Round 1, Match 9: The Princess and the Frog vs Lilo & Stitch

This week, two of Disney's more contemporary films go head to head as the voodoo-licious Princess and the Frog takes on the booger eating duo, Lilo & Stitch.

The Princess and the Frog:

Hmmmm. Nice matchup. I've only seen Lilo and Stitch once, but the other one I've seen about 3 times via being forced to watch with my sister. I guess I'll go with that one. It's more fresh in my mind. Plus, it doesn't have an utterly horrible ride to go along with it. (Though I admit that it's not fair to place blame on the film for the utter disaster of a ride that was produced after it.)

This is actually a really tough one because I am not IN LOVE with either of these. Lilo and Stitch is okay and I like the theme of Ohana, but am not crazy with Stitch. Princess and the Frog seems like a good movie but I have yet to watch the entire movie. But the parts I have seen were pretty good, so I guess that my vote is going to be for Princess and the frog.

It's cool to see that they finally made a film with the classic "kiss the frog" story, though I have my doubts it'll turn into such a timeless classic as some of Disney's... classics. You never know though.

Lilo and Stitch for me. I like the music better and the more original storyline.

That's a tough choice...

I really like Lilo & Stitch, they are such cute characters and like the upbeat music.
I really enjoyed Princess and the Frog because it had a classic storyline.

Ummmmm if I had to choose... I think I will pick Lilo & Stitch for now


(But now I have the idea to watch them both with the kids this week )
