roughly how much to add person on check in?

just a rough idea, how much is it to add an adult onto the room at check in? We are going for 4 nights at hotel new York

Depends on when you are going, as there is a new Tourist Tax going through the French Parliament. Currently it is €1.50. From 1 January 2014 it could rise to as much as €8 per person.

is that 8 euro a night? if so, that's still ok, for the breakfast etc

Yeah its per night but that looks to be only for the DLH with the SQL, NPB, HNY being less and the SF and Cheyenne cheaper again.

I'm watching the website the whole time to see when the hours are up so I can estimate when the November hours will be up!! You guys are going to have a great time. Yep I think €5 was mentioned but not 100% sure xx

There is a thread running about the Tourist Tax here.

Here is the latest last Thursday the Finance Committee of the French Assembly made some amendments to the draft Finance Act.

They reduced the number of hotel categories from seven down to three, and the amendments tabled indicate that the increase in hotel tax for each of the three hotel grades will be between 0.20 to 3.50 euro per person per night.

So for the Santa Fe and Cheyenne we could see a rise of 0.20 euro cents per adult per night and for the Disneyland Hotel will see a rise of 3.50 euros per adult per night, with Hotel New York, Newport Bay Club and Sequoia Lodge somewhere between the two.

There will be a reading of the draft amended Finance Act for 2014 (RFLP) today (15 July) and if the bill is passed the new tax will come into force on 1 January 2015.
