I have a princess loving cousin (6 years old if I remember rightly).

As I'm visiting DLR in a couple of weeks, I was thinking about picking her up a princess dress for Christmas, so was wondering if somebody could possibly advise me as to roughly how much I should expect to pay for one.

Hopefully they're cheaper than in Disneyland Resort Paris, as they're quite expensive on this site of the atlantic.

They are pretty pricey - around $65 I believe. While you are over here, you may want to stop at a Disney Store or even Target, as they are considerably cheaper outside the park!

There are basic princess dresses around $40 and then there are the elaborate deluxe ones around $65 or more. For an idea of pricing, check out disneyshopping.com.

Thank you. $65 is still quite a bit cheaper than the DLRP dresses - they're really expensive there.

This weekend only Disneyshopping has them 50% off and free shipping. The had some pretty princess dresses.

When I read that promotion, it sounds to me as if you buy the costume at regular price and get any accessories at 50% off.

If you visit the character warehouse they have a bunch for $35. last time I was there they had belle, ariel, cinderella, tinkerbell and alice.

I would like to know too... I want to get my DD one for our trip but not sure I want to spend the $65 in the park for one....

I just saw some princess dresses today at JCPenney, for $60 but on sale for $40, and at Toys R Us for $20 on sale.

They usually have them at Costco at this time of year for Halloween, but I don't know if they have them this year or not as I've not been to Costco lately. In the past, I've purchased Belle, Tink, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White there for $30. They were beautiful and included petticoats and headpiece (wings for Tink).

The closer you get to Halloween or right after Halloween the Disney online usually has them pretty cheap. I bought Tinkerbell, Cinderella, and Mulan for $16 on the site in the past. HTHs
