Threads like this make me so happy I never visit in in the summer. I understand some have no choice just saying I'm thankful I do.

We go in the summer because it works for us, but yeah, Orlando weather is horrible in the summer. Almost uninhabitable

It really has been. I was worried it wouldn't be but we've had a blast. There are definitely very obvious changes Disney needs to implement to FP+. Once done it will be wonderful. Even still, we're making do just fine.

BTW - Is it common knowledge that CM's get to cut in front of all guests for every ride?

My DD is a CM and waits in line just like everyone else when she goes to the parks when she's not working. All of her friends are also CM's and they wait in line with her.

We were just there the week of July 4th. When rides closed that we had FP+ for we did get the emails and it even showed up on MDE app that we could wait for that ride or choose another. Also when 7DMT went down while we were in line we were all given a paper FP that had like a month until it expired.

When 7DMT went down when we were in line and everyone was herded out of the line on July 10th, we were offered nothing.

I am betting attendance is UP- which is great for disney- but NOT for us! I totally believe her when she says that the place is a zoo- and more of a zoo than prior years.

I have been following this thread since we will be at Disney next week. This reminded me of our trip to Hollywood Studios during Star Wars Weekend. We were in line to take a photo with R2D2, Luke and Leia together. It was a super long line and crazy hot of course. Right as we were at the front, a group of the CM's friends came up - about 10 people total. She let them in front of us to take photos INDIVIDUALLY and get autographs. It really stunk because we were next and R2D2 had to leave to recharge or something so we missed the photo opp.

Um, no? I'm a Cast member. Going for the 1st time as a CM with complimentary tickets for the 1st time since 2013. DO TELL.

I should have, but I didn't. My boys wanted to get in line for Chewbacca so I just let it go. Obviously I haven't forgotten it though. Lol

Many thanks to all for the live reports. If people like you didn't do live reports, then you'd have people like me posting the following.....

1)Rides were down on our trip, this only happens on my trip, awwwwww
2)It's July, its hot and the lines are long. Why didn't anyone tell me?
