What happens if u just sat down at ur ADR and get ur ROR notification but u have a reservation for Droid Depot 1.5hr after ur ADR. There is no way ur doing em both. Or if ur in line at ROR and the ride breaks down but ur so far in line u dont get evacuated and miss ur ADR or any other paid reservations. There are numerous situations where this could cause some conflict with other previous scheduled reservations. I have all my fp's setup from 3-6pm and then droid at 630 and then ogas at 7:55, both are 45min plus u have to arrive 15min early to register. So if I dont get the perfect time for boarding pass, it will absolutely conflict with something. Curious to see if this has happened to anyone yet and how Disney handled it.

I get where you are coming from - we have a few reservations on our DHS day (Droid Factory and Oga's) ... but I just figure things will work out - that 2 hour return time does give a pretty wide timeframe. I would think that Disney / the CMs would try to make it all work out for you and at the very least you could get any no-show penalties waved since it was due to that return window impossed by Disney not just you choosing to not show up on your own

You will be fine, they don't charge "no shows" until the day after so you can go later and explain the situation and build your droid/go to Oga's/ dine. And even if they do charge a no show you could go to guest relations and solve the issue.

Life is all about reacting to developments and adapting.

If the above what-if scenario, which invents a series of events unlikely to all occur at the same time, happens, go to guest assistance and they will help you sort it out. And until there’s a conflict, don’t spend the energy and stress worrying about it.

That's nice and all but doesn't answer the question. Nobody said it all would happen at same and the whole point of this thread is to plan ahead and be prepared. I could say the same for ROR, just show up and see what happens. The question was, has anyone experienced where their boarding group conflicted with another reservation and how did Disney handle it. So I'm assuming since u answered u have experienced this, so how did Disney handle it.

Thank you. I'm trying to find out what happens in this scenario so if it comes down to it and I have to choose to cancel something, then I know where I stand. I would be willing to miss the droid or Oga's if neccessary to keep my boarding pass.

More news from today. BG 57, we returned at 12ish. We had received notification at 11:05. Ride down, no entry allowed. Went to watch Muppets movie. Came back, open again. Got in, walked a bit, and down again. We have been sitting for 45 minutes. Characters have come through. Food (chocolate chip cookies and bananas) and water have been distributed.

Thank you. That was my other concern. If I do end up not making it to one of my reservations, would I still be charged. If I have to choose between something, it would just be nice knowing the repracations in advance. Thanks

Exactly! It seems odd for someone to just say “Life is all about reacting and adapting so don’t stress” when you asked a simple and very real question. The whole purpose of this board is to give info and plan! And I had the same question...we have an ADR at Trattoria Boardwalk. 2 hrs is a lot of time, but I could easily see how we would either miss our BG or miss our ADR depending on timing/if we are in queue and it breaks down/etc

We had a potential conflict. Went to Savi's and was able to build light saber early.

I feel like I should buy stock in Bananas.

Hello Experts

I have read through and followed along for a number of days now. I just still have a few questions:

I arrive December 28th - 6 am opening - people are arriving and standing in line probably by 5 (or earlier). I tap into the gates and then go up to or go on my app to get a boarding number. Hopefully, I get one.

The things I am unsure of: the boarding group is just for ROTR, how when do I go to Millenium Falcon?

Do all members of my family need to get up? can I get a boarding pass for the 4 of us and they stay in bed

Does having a reservation at Olga's get us into the land? Could we ride MF then?

I believe from the time my boarding number is called until I am finished ROTR is 2 hours?

Thank you, everyone who is able to help with my questions.

Everyone member of your party has to be in the park to get a boarding group for ROTR. MF is regular standby line, no boarding groups and no FPs. The land is open access no oga’s reservation required unless you want to go to oga’s. You have 2 hours to return once your boarding group is called.

1) Boarding group is for ROTR only. Millennium Falcon and the land are both open to ride/explore whenever you want.

2) Everyone who wants to ride needs to be through the gates to get a BG.

3) Oga's ADR just gets you into Oga's. Again, you can get into the land whenever you want at this point, they haven't used BG for the land itself since opening day.

4) You have 2 hours to ride when your BG is called. Unable to know how long it will take until you're finished, as the ride breaks down somewhat frequently and some people wait longer than others.

1. Yes, everyone that wants to ride need to join a bg and to do so they need to be inside the park
2. The land has not needed a virtual queue since day 1 midday. Meaning the land is open to everyone, no need for a reservation
3 MFSR is a regular standby only, attraction
4. Once your bg is called you have 2 hours to return to the attraction and experience it. The attraction, when it runs properly is 17 minutes long

There are a lot of options:

1) Go to Ogas/Droid build early. Especially first thing in the morning you can often walk into Ogas/Droid building/Lightsaber build - so if you are there early and get a ROTR boarding pass that might conflict, go early to whatever you have most likely to conflict and ask if they will move you up. I was able to walk into Ogas very early and just have them cancel an afternoon reservation I had. Best thing is, then you can get a Taurine Tea which they do not serve after breakfast...

2) See if they will let you in after your boarding group has expired. If you explain you had a conflict with some other Disney reservation they would probably be pretty understanding. Ask them before it expires or comes up though.

3) As someone else mentioned, just show up late to a Galaxys Edge reservation and they will probably accommodate you.

Disney is pretty cool with things shifting and they like to help guests out where they can.

Any thoughts on a strategy to get a late BG? We have afternoon plans off property and will probably return around 7pm on an 8pm closing day that has evening EMH. Any chance of trying to time it to snag one of the last BGs of the day, or is that too much to try to orchestrate?

There's a chart floating around with approx times. But in general I think waiting maybe 30 min after they open the tapstiles will put you in a position for an evening bg. The other thing to keep in mind is when you are coming, obviously right now is a very busy season so if you are coming after mid January and before Spring Break the timing will be different
@hiroMYhero I think has the link to the chart?

I wonder if they had lower backup boarding groups today because of the rain storms that are predicted this evening.
Yesterday Backups started at 121 today 117??
