Anyone know how many Boarding Groups were given out? What's the highest number someone was assigned?
Any speculation on the number of people per boarding group?

I agree! We're going in January and I hope they have the Virtual B.P. then too. It almost feels like the old paper Fast Passes where you got your time slot to return once you were inside the park.

BINGO!! but virtually so you don't have to walk to the attraction. This is the fairest way, based on basically order you arrive at the park for the day

Would you mind coming back and telling us how long the whole experience takes once you show up for your spot in the virtual queue? Thanks!

Because we walked in on the fastpasses right as they opened back up, there weren’t that many people . We walked straight in past all the empty outside and inside queue areas and walked straight through to the first holding room. We were literally at the first holding room in 10-15 minutes but I’m guessing if they fill in all the areas we walked right through it could be significantly longer to get through.

Boarding group 25. Got in line about 9:35 and just got done.

So it sounds like basically 1 hour to get on the ride plus the 15 minute experience...

I hope it’s around in March but I have my doubts. A nice addition to FP+ at a park with so many new attractions. You can knock one out with FP+, one with regular rope drop, and one with a boarding group.

I rode it 4 times yesterday and that was my experience each time, I broke the attraction waits down on the attractions thread. It's a total of about an hour

MDE has GPS capability and will recognize when you are close to DHS, once it "sees" that you're close it will let you book.

They had people joining boarding groups at 5:30AM this morning, so no it doesn't go live at park opening (especially if they anticipate needing boarding groups right at opening. I'm sure it is a decision they make based on the crowd that is gathering before the park opens, and they turn on boarding passes if it reaches a critical mass. They have the ability to turn it off and on throughout the day.

I saw that. I’m now trying to monitor what the actual experiences are with wait times with the boarding groups process. Perhaps Disney is loosely trying to keep the wait at an hour based on how they activate/call-back boarding groups.

There are 3 different ride systems in this attraction.

There aren't any wait times because they are using Virtual Queue/boarding passes for the ride.

You still have to get in a ride line once your group is allowed in

Wow, the boarding groups seem to be moving pretty quickly based on the posts ITT.

We will be there next week, our plan was to hit TSL first since we have an early FP for a ride there.

Curious what the wait is for someone that joined a boarding group say around 830/9am this morning? Also I am not familiar with how boarding groups work, so you simply add yourself through the MDE app? Can you add your family as well like any other FP selection?

Olgas gets you in one hour early and experience “maxed” at 45 minutes. You’ve got 2 hours like you said to use your queue spot. What’s the worry?

I have an Droid Depot at 11:20 and then Oga's at 1:40 and then obviously will try to have other FPs for the day (which is also stressing me a bit as to what time to try and book other FPs)

I think it should all work out but this "unknown" element stresses me out - I tend to stress about logistics in general anyway - I always allocate way more time for a meal than is needed, get to the airport 2 hours earlier than I need to be, etc.
