RotR Chicken Exit

Hey Y'all - First post and maybe a weird question; I tried to dig through old threads and couldn't find an answer.

My fam will be heading to WDW soon and want to ETPE to do RotR, but we're trying to figure out if my hubby (who isn't interested in the ride) and my two-year-old (who won't be tall enough) can walk the queue with my daughter and I and then exit before the actual ride portion. Anyone know if such a thing is possible or if they are just going to need to wander Batuu while she and I ride?

I don’t believe the 2 year old can go in the queue if they don’t meet the height requirement.

That's what I feared. Will have to see if it makes more sense to ETPE something else then that either will be a shorter wait or that he can ride, to start the day, and then ILL RotR later.

I may see if we do MRR and then head to Tower and Aerosmith early, hopefully pre-rope drop. Thanks a ton y'all!
