Yes, I know that I need to call my bank for specific answers but it's Sunday so I can't today and I'm too impatient
I have a Roth IRA that I am considering taking a distrubution from to pay off a high interest rate credit card. The IRA doesn't earn very much and I just want this card gone!
I was told that, since it is a Roth, I can withdraw contributions without penalty as long as I don't touch the earnings. Is this correct?
Thanks for any insight!
