rotation dining question

Oops, I've posted this previously on a wrong forum...sorry, but here it is. Did I mentioned that I'm new to this?

I'm trying to figure out when is the best time for me to book Palo. We'll be on a 7 night Western cruise. So whatever our rotation is, let's say APLAPLA, the second time we rotate over to A, it wouldn't be the special color change themed dinner thing, correct? Am I making sense? And I've read that Monday night is Captain's Gala, so does that mean when we rotate over to L the second time around, (Thursday) the menu would be the regular L menu? I hope someone can help with this, or at least clarify. Thank you!

This is all so very confusing! And fun & exciting in a crazy way!

btw, how do you get that countdown thing? I've just registered, and this is acutally my 5th post! My very first thread!!!!!!

look at www.castawayclub.com and look at the dinner rotations there. the first 3 dinners are the normal dinners and the other 4 are themed. thanks

As far as the clocks go, make a seperate thread about them and someone will answer you soon. Verandah Man is wonderful about stuff like that.

The restaurant rotation seems to be based on the makeup of your
Have a lot of little ones...count on Animator's, Parrot Cay then Lumiere's. (APL)
Have say 7-10 year olds...count on Parrot Cay, Lumiere's and then Animator's (PLA)
Have older teens, senior citizens, honeymooners, or just adults...count on Lumiere's, Animator's and then Parrot Cay. (LAP)

As far as booking Palo..book it any night you can. The food and service are so wonderful..it is worth it to miss any night in the dining room for Palo!
