I'm not a big Friends follower but I did watch it tonight. I know Ross/Rachel have a baby. Why didn't Rachel have the baby on the plane with her? Where was the baby? When they all go for coffee at the end where is the baby?

Rachel said that she left Emma with her mom. She was planning to fly over and get settled, then her mom would bring Emma over.

:)

She said earlier in the coffeehouse that she dropped off Emma at her moms so she could go and get things arranged in Paris, and her mom was flying out with her over the weekend...

Someone says poor mom, being on a plane for 8 hours with a baby... and Rachel says not poor mom, poor Emma to listen to mom talk about Atkins for 8 hours... (I think it was Atkins that she said, not positive).

All the events happened in one day, so it would make sense that they didn't stop to get Emma at her moms house out of the city before meeting up with everyone.

Thanks. I must have missed that part.

Honestly? I think they sold her to a band of Gypsies at the beginning of this season.

;)

At least they explained where Emma was for a change.

What I can't get over is that Monica & Chandler seemed to take those twins home from the delivery room. Like that happens :earseek:

I noticed that too, when did anyone have time to shop!

Yeah, the whole baby thing was silly. I did notice that they took the babies home the same day they were born. And I also noticed the double stroller.

I, too, wondered where Ross and Rachel's baby was. Thanks for clarifying that issue. I thought the ending was a bit more like the old shows. I stopped watching about last season... I enjoyed this ending.

They are NEVER watching their kid. Whenever we watched it, we were like "Uh, you're all sitting around the coffee shop - did you lock the kid in the closest or something??

I brought that whole thing up to my kids. I told them twins would never leave the hospital that soon...nor would any other babies. I always thought babies had to stay for 24 hours so test results could come back...and if there is jaundice it will show up within 24 hours.

Plus having a double stroller that quick...not only that but she kept leaving the twins to go across to Joeys...she stayed there long enough to dismantle the foosball table!

My kids informed me that it's just a TV show...something i tell them all the time.LOL!

It did seem funny that they were able to bring the twins home so soon. They didnt need to do that. I do have a friend who adopted two little girls and one of them they got to bring home when she was 4 hours old. I know thats more than 30 minutes, but that still seems early to me. It could of had something to do with the fact that her husband is a doctor though, not sure.

My only other question about Emma--- Last week they had Rachel's goodbye party. She wasn't present in that episode either (haven't seen her in awhile). Where was she then? Then Rachel head's over to Ross's place for the night??

Don't you know that when you are on tv you never have "convenient kids"? You only have them when it is part of the story line. If they aren't the subject of the scene then well you might as well not have them.

Then again it is TV!!

Ok My beef with the whole "Emma" thing is that in last night's show Rachel says she left Emma with her mom and that her mom would come on Sunday to Paris and bring Emma......so why doesn't Ross have Emma since she is leaving for Paris in a matter of days???? I mean that looks like he doesn't even care that his child is going half way around the world and he doesn't want to spend the last days with her!!!!

Oh well it's TV what do i expect!! I was very disappointed with most of this episode....that's what I get for watching make believe!!!
