She's on her R Family Cruise and is back on Wednesday I think...

Yes she is on the Cruise. Her contract states she gets off when her kids are off school.

Thanks, the view is just not the same without her. I do like Sherry as a cohost, but I would like her to replace BW. That makes sense about being off when her kids are. I do not remember hearing BW say anything about Rosie, did she?

I don't know if BW mentioned anything or not, but as soon as I saw Rosie wasn't on I turned it off.

I think Sherri will be co host at some point in time.
I do not think Rosie will renew her contract which is up in June. She will make her decsion in May. I hope she goes back to her own show format.

I've been taping it, too, since Rosie's return. Guess no need to watch today's taped show. Hadn't watched The View really before she joined and won't if she leaves, although I do like Sherri. Elizabeth doesn't belong on a national TV show and the others are O.K. but not enough to carry it.

Ain't that the truth. I remember when they did the audtions to fill the spot and I actually thought she was the best and was happy she got picked. But I must say, I really can't stand her now. Just seems like her head really expanded, I often wonder how she fits through the door.

Elizabeth doesn't belong on a national TV show

ITA. Elizabeth needs to go back to fashion fluff. The only reason I think she is still on that show is that the entertainment industry is generally a very liberal crowd and they enjoy a stupid person with no debating skills representing the right wing/republican POV. As a democrat and find myself feeling bad for how poorly she represents her side of things.

I'd be surprised if Rosie doesn't renew. I think she has the best of both worlds on The View. When she's there, it's all about Rosie, and when she wants a break, the rest of the cast is there doing the show.

She has said so on her blog. She is undecided. I think she like the freedom of the show since she is not in charge but misses the creative control of booking her own guest & segments. I have a gut feeling she will stick around in some form until we are out of this war.

That certainly was uncalled for. While you are free to dislike Rosie, there's no need to be offensive to her and others.
