DH, DD's 3 and 7 and myself on Oct 11-17.
I am going to try and keep this short and simple but give you lots of info at the same time, so here goes...
Resort--POFQ--This was our first time staying here and I know it will not be our last. It was wonderful! I am so glad we chose this resort. I was a bit worried since we had never stayed here. Everything is SO convenient! The resort is georgous! We were in building five on the ground floor and it was close to food court, bus stop, and lagoon. Food court was average. The breakfast food was very good. Overall experince...wonderful!
MNSSHP---First time to do this. We decided at the last moment to do this and are so glad we did. This was our favortie part of the trip. We did it our first night at WDW. The streets were very crowded but the attractions were not at all. We got to the park at 6 oclock and they let us in early. We were able to do lots before the Halloween festivities even began. SO I would advise getting there early. The girls loved it and so did DH and myself. Lots of characters dressed up.
We did all four parks and had a blast. HOWEVER...all the reports I have been reading lately have said no line..no crowds. This was not the case. We did MK on Sat mrning and on Tues evening and all day Thursday. It was VERY crowded everyday. But lines mananged to move fast. We enjoyed every park and the kids did also. PLENTY of characters out in all the parks which was great.
Eating
Sci-Fi--good atmosphere but food was not even as good as food court food. Probably will not do again. cost about $65 just for food and sodas.
Tony's Town Square--was worried because of all the bad reviews BUT we loved it. We ate the character lunch. The food was very good and character interaction was great!
'Ohana's--This was probably our favorite! The food was absolutely wonderful! And the girls loved the races and hulla-hoop contest. We had a great view of the castle. Cant wait to eat here again!
Chef Mickey Breakfast--average food but good time.
Rainforest--average food but good time, also.
Macaroni Grill--Went off site to eat here and food was very good.
Pizza at the board walk--good.
We had a great time and are looking forward to planning another trip in the coming year! I will answer any questions that I can to help!
