Does anyone have any information they can share with me on Rosen Shingle Creek? We are staying there next week for 5 nights. I got what I think is an excellent rate of $51 per night. Just not sure what to expect. Thanks!

We stayed there last October for a couple nights. It is a massive conference hotel. There were some annoying loud people in a room near us that stayed up most of the night, but this could happen anywhere. The most important part is that the room was clean and a nice size. I was very disappointed when we got to CSR and our room was tiny! We did not get to explore the grounds much. If I got another great rate there I would definitely stay there again.

Do you know if you have to pay a resort fee? Also, do you know how long of a drive it is to Seaworld?

We enjoyed our trip there, and yes that is a great rate !
There is a parking fee, do not recall a resort fee.
But for that rate I would be returning in a heart beat :)
Not far from any of the major parks, somewhat central location.

Here is a thread I posted photos to:

There is a parking fee, currently I think its $12/day. I'm not sure about resort fee. I also wouldn't consider this having a central location. Its between Sea World and Universal. That is a great price. We stayed a few years back the week of Thanksgiving and the begining of the week the place was dead, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. By Wednesday it started getting busier.

I got this resort on priceline last year for something crazy like $40 a night. Parking was around $15 a day and it was VERY far away from the main building. No resort fees, just the parking. But it is a beautiful and comfortable hotel in a good location. It's quite close to Sea World, maybe 5-8 minute drive?

I got the Rosen Shingle Creek as well as the Rosen Centre on International Drive for $50-$60 on Hotwire last year.Like others have said it's a huge convention style hotel with a golf course out back and many amenities. It's in a great location probably less than 5 minutes to Sea World,10 minutes to Universal and 15-20 to Disney.

It's a nice hotel. Very close to Sea World. Short drive from everything.

Halls remind me a little of Portofino Bay. Rooms are big and neutral - relaxing, not overwhelming or tacky in any way.

Not a hotel to avoid for any reason.
