Is anyone familiar with the Rosen Plaza? I have found it for $55 a night. Is this a good deal?

Yes, it's a very good deal. Rack rates are way over $100. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I just prefer being closer to Disney (I think it's closer to Universal). However, it's a good middle ground if you intend to do both.:smooth:

Just returned from 3 nights at the Rosen Plaza and loved it. Very convenient for our trip to Seaworld. Great rooms and a deal at $55 a night (found it at Expedia).

Maisee01,
Thanks for the update. We're staying there in October thru Priceline and it's great to hear that it's a nice place. Did you use the pool at all? If so, how was it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tina

The Rosen has a large pool, almost a clover shape. I think it goes from 3 to 6 feet deep is all. Also, there is a whirlpool with a waterfall off to the side of the large pool. The Rosen itself has room service, a convenience store, gift shop, a buffet type restaurant, a fancy restaurant, pizza shop, and a night club. We were very pleased with the hotel, itself. My main concern when checking in is cleanliness and didn't have a problem with that all all.
