Has anyone stayed here recently? I'm just looking for a clean place on I-drive for a few nights with a Universal shuttle. This place on paper looks pretty good, but I was hoping to find someone that has stayed here within the past year. I'm always apprehensive about hotels priced so low, but this looks comparable to a Disney All Stars resort. We just sleep and shower here so bare bones is fine as long as it is clean. Thanks in advance.

I've stayed here a couple of times with my Celebration of Harry Potter packages, both last year and the year before. I found it to be comparable if not a tad nicer than the All Stars. I don't think you will be disappointed, it's a decent little hotel and the Rosen name can usually be trusted. They seem to take pride in their properties. You definitely won't feel sketched out staying there. Hope that helps!

I definitely agree with this statement.

If anyone is unfamiliar, Rosen is Harris Rosen. Mr. Rosen is a business person and philanthropist. By most accounts I've read, he's a stand-up guy that runs his businesses with integrity. No hotel is perfect...but if anything goes south, the Rosen Corporate Office should be able to make it right.

As for philanthropy, I really admire the guy. He comes from the generation (he's about 80, I think) where business people truly believed they have a responsibility to improve the communities that helped make them successful.

Mr. Rosen has funded educational programs in two low-income neighborhoods in Orlando. He made a multi-million dollar donation to establish the Hospitality Management program at the University of Central Florida. (They named the school after him because of that support.) He also has supported relief programs in Haiti ever since the 2010 earthquake.

As stated Rosen is a name you can trust, and they offer different price points.
