My favorite is the one where Becky asked Roseanne for birth control and Jackie kept saying, "Isn't it GREAT, Roseanne?" and Roseanne kept saying, "Sure!". Jackie said, "Maybe you need to sit down." and Roseanne said, "No, Jackie, I need to lay down. In a great big pine box."

I love that show, and still watch all the reruns.

That show is so funny! Makes you laugh at yourself sometimes since they experience some of the same things you do.


Reminds me of myself a over weight, sarcastic, loud, middle-aged woman living in a suburb of Chicago.

I am a huge fan of Roseanne!
I have so many favorites. One that sticks out the most because I can relate with a very picky child eater is when she is makeing DJ a peanutbutter sandiwch and sets it on the table in front of him. He opens the sandwich and looks and then says "ahhh mom, I like the jelly on the top." Roseanne flips it over and says "there ya go" so DJ eagerly eats up!

i saw roseanne last week for the first time in years.

i forgot how funny they were. now that my kids are darlene & becky ages
it seems more true to life than other family shows of that time.

Roseanne is still my favorite show. I DVR all the episodes when they are on Nick at Nite and DH and I watch it before bed.

I really like the old ones when the kids were little. Once they were older it really stood out that the kid who played DJ could NOT act!

I thought it was funny when "old" Becky came back and Roseann looked at her and said - "Where've you been?"

I also liked it when Jackie was pregnant and she lifted her shirt to show a very large belly and said something to Roseann like "that...is not going to come out of...there..!"

I have to admit....my DVR is FULL of Roseanne episodes........and I have the first 3 seasons on DVD. My Dh makes fun of me all the time. I told him that I watch it so much because she is my idol! I want to control him like Roseanne controls Dan!

I had a Roseanne blinkie in my signature until I had to delete it since I was reminded I could only have 3 graphics.

My fav lines are from the episode when Darlene snuck out to a concert in another town.
A boy is flirting with her and her response is... "Any part of you that touches me you aren't getting back" or something to that effect, followed almost immediately by my all time fav line " I feel like I am in the middle of a really bad afterschool special".
