Rose & Crown

Just feel the need to rave. My family and I just ate at Rose and Crown for the first time ever today and I believe that it will be a must-do for every WDW trip from now on. We did not have reservations, but easily got seated for an early lunch. The menu was WONDERFUL, as was the service. LOVE IT!!!!! I will likely make ADRs for this restaurant next time. YUMMY!!!!!!!!

DH and I are with you on that one!! We had ADRs for when they opened last wed. Our server was amazing. Food was YUMMY!!! Loved the salad and the burger was really good. Dh got the Scotch egg and was really nervous but LOVED it. One thing he did not like was the sugar free dessert it was kinda tasteless.

I was getting nervous with some reviews but it was a really good meal and DH said he would definatly go back!!

I'm SOOOO hoping we can nab an ADR for Rose & Crown. We want to eat there our last night and watch Illuminations. I hear it's very hard to get, but I plan to be on the phones as SOON as they open!!

A table on the Patio to watch Illuminations is a request you make when you check in at the podium. It truly is the luck of the draw - if a table opens in your time frame they will eat you there. They used to allow folks to wait for a patio table, but they no longer do this. You need to accept the table for your size group that is open.
If you are seated inside, there is a private viewing area that they will escort you out to to stand and watch Illuminations. It is very nice too.
Of all of our trips to R & C we have been seated on the patio 3 times - about 30% of the time.
