Hi! I'm wondering what time would give us the best shot at getting
a table outside to watch illuminations during dinner at the Rose & Crown?
Would 8pm be best?; or 8:15pm:confused3

I think Rusty means Illuminations. I agree 90 minutes is a good time frame...They may not seat you outside initially. They will call you with the first available table. If it is not an outside table you will have to ask to wait again. Hopefully they will accomodate you.:goodvibes

Make ADR for 7:15pm, 7:20pm, 7:25pm or 7:30pm for the best possible chance for a seat. This has always worked for me in the past.

We have 7:40 for a party of 8. Do you think we'll be inside?

We ate at the Rose & Crown last week. Had a 7:30 ADR and told the waitress we wanted to see Illuminations. Even though we were seated inside, just before 9 she came by and told us to move outside. There was plenty of room and we were able to sit at a table and she served our dessert just as the firworks began.

Very enjoyable and the steak was GREAT!

I always ask for the last seating of the night. Like a previous posted said, if you are inside, they have an area where you move to to see the show. We were able to eat our dinner, then step outside to see the show, and then go back instead for dessert. They told us they keep the place open as long as people stay, especially the bar area. Not sure how true that is, but it was really neat walking out through the park when if was empty. Just make sure you're out before the last bus leaves.
