Hi everyone,

On our up coming trip most of my family wants to try the Rose & Crown Pub. My older daughter is very unsure of this, She is sure she will not find anything she likes. I have looked on a Web-Site with a lot of different menu's but it was not very specific on the Menu at The Rose & Crown. Would some of you please share with me what you have eaten & your opinions of the food.

Thank you so much

I for one love the Rose & Crown. They have Fish & chips (french fries), cottage pie mmmmmmmmmm ground meat sorta like a meatloaf with mashed potatoes & cheese on top yummy !:cloud9: I think the food is good others might not like it.

We used to like R&C, but our last visit was a huge disappointment. The menu on allearsnet.com is accurate. The options are very limited. I like British food, so it wasn't a matter of preference, it was simply badly prepared. The fish & chips were overcooked and the batter was so tough, it had to be cut with a steak knife. Oddly, when our waitress served it, she brought out steak knives. I found this strange, until I tried to eat the fish. The chips were soggy and tasteless. The bangers & mash were nothing to brag about, either. Desserts were so-so. The best thing about the place was the beer. We had MUCH better meals at Raglan Road. There are better dining options at EPCOT.

We finally ate at R&C for the first time in February, and we loved it! We have been kicking ourselves for missing this place on all of our previous trips.

DW had the Pot Roast (to die for), and I had the Fish n Chips, which was excellent. Our server was a very high-energy young guy who made the whole meal a lot of fun.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We ate at the Rose and Crown in March and were very pleased with it. I wouldn't have put it as a highlight of our dining experiences but everything was quite tasty. My mom had the ploughman's lunch and I had the shepard's pie. The server was very attentive and pleasant.

Went here as our very first dinner in Jan 2007....got lucky and sat out on the patio for Illuminations and it was FABULOUS all the way around....great service, great food (I had the filet/fish combo) and wonderful way to experience Illuminations for the very first time ever.

You will never know until you try it for yourself. :)

Since we usually purchase the dining plan with DVC, we find that other restaurants give a better value, but otherwise you can't beat it. What is better than Bangars and Mash for $15 and drinking the Imperial Sampler. Top that off with a fantastic view of Illuminations
