Rose & Crown Harmonious Package Question

I tried to find the answer in an existing thread, but didn't have any luck. Does Disney charge for this in advance? I made a reservation for 3 for the Rose & Crown package in May this morning and now see a charge equal to $266.97 or 3x$89 and wanted to make sure it was due to this reservation. I assume if we have to cancel within the 48 hour cancellation period, we'd get that money back? Thanks!

Yes. They charge right away, but you can cancel or change the reservation. I believe they also do this for the dessert parties.

Any reviews or feedback on this fireworks/dinner package? Was just thinking this might be a better value over the desert packages at MK.

We did the R&C fireworks package the summer before c19, and thought the value was really good for the dollar. You got a 3 course meal and unlimited beverages, including adult beverages (from a limited list of beverages). The view was great for Illuminations but I hear not so good for the new show. But the food and beverage offerings were more worth the money than the desserts. Of course the main reason to do a fireworks package is for the seat not so much the food, but we thought the offerings for R&C were better than just desserts. If you don’t mind a not great view for the new show, the R&C dinner is totally worth it- we think anyway.

When in May did you book for? Were you able to book for the whole length of stay or right at 60 days?

May 12th, which is 60+5 for me. I initially had an issue finding a reservation, but refreshed a few times and booked it at around 7:30am on my 60 day. Though I got pretty much all the reservations I wanted (except Space 220 Lounge), there are some times I'd like to change for Ohana and Toppolino breakfast. I check a few times each day and have a Touring Plans alert set and nothing has popped up. It looks like dining reservations are still tough to make.

Sorry to beat a horse, but I just want to verify that you were able to book it at exactly 60 days from the date of the ADR. I have been waking up every morning at 3:45 to attempt to get this for the end of my trip and it has not been available. You are giving me hope that it will be at 60 days exactly.

Yes, this was at my 60 day mark, but I’m staying onsite, so I booked the package for the last day of my trip to give me the best shot at availability.

Good luck! Maybe try the touring plans reservation finder. It's free and it checks for availability for you.
