that was definitely a blown call, but the play that cost USC the game was Reggie pitching the ball to Texas in the first half...what was he thinking...

Yes it was. While I was watching the replay I thought that it was a shame that if Texas won, all the sore losers out there would use it to justify USC's loss.

More than anything I blame the media for their "little girl with a skinned knee" type of whining. If they hadn't started hyping the Trojans as football immortals a month ago, forgetting that they had to face a pretty good team in the Longhorns, they might not feel so bad right now. That's what happens when you refuse to realize the possibility that you might lose.

As for the blown call... if it had been overturned that would have put the ball where? Around the 10 yard line? Yeah, we all know there's no way Texas could have scored from there... /sarcasm off
