Can you order a drink at the pub and take it out? We have small kids, and wouldn't be able to linger at a bar, but my husband would probably like a pint, or to try the Black and Tan

Yes. They'll put it in a plastic cup to carry out. No glass containers are allowed outside.

it is not a typical bar scene (at least early in the day).

many families sit in the bar at the few tables there.

but if not, all drinks can be taken to go in plastic cups.

ps, do try the strongbow cider, it's great!

Theyve also got a cart with the craft beers available.

One down side is theyve gotten rid of the BIG beers. I still have my big cup from our honeymoon.

I picked up a Guinness and a Welsh Dragon at the R&C, and then raced halfway around the world showcase with them (well, the Guinness was gone by Japan ) to meet the family at Italy for the KP Adventure...

Note that if you're inclined to drink Bass, you can get a cup from the Ramsden Fish and Chips takeaway window, located outside of Rose and Crown. It can be a zoo at the bar and often the wait at Ramsden's can be very short! Always good to grab a cold beer and go sit in the garden area and enjoy!

They have a really nice place to sit outside by the lagoon and its one of my favorite places to go to relax after a long day a the park!
