Rose and Crown non package seating?

When I worked there we didn’t have the fireworks package but I can only assume that the seats available for that are the lower deck tables, which have the unobstructed view of the fireworks. So you watch the fireworks from your table. Other diners were not allowed to come stand around in that area when I worked there, and I’d assume that would be the case even more so now that it is a paid for package!
Other diners have the choice to stay at their table (some other parts of the restaurant with obstructed views) or going to a separate viewing area which is reserved for diners of the R&C
Thank you! This helps a lot 😁

I like this answer and I'm going with it as the final answer lol.

By the way you say you worked there I assume you're originally from the UK? Did you move back once you ended your tenure as a CM?

Hope I’m giving the correct info, but I can’t see that it would have changed to allow people hanging around on lower deck while people are eating etc :)

Yes I’m from Scotland, the cultural exchange participants just get a Visa for a year so we just come over to work for the year. So you come over knowing you’ll be going home a year later 😭 I’d love to live closer to disney full time lol.

There’s a very small number of people in the UK pavilion who work there permanently, but they all have moved over from the uk via other means, and because they’re from the UK they are eligible to work in the pavilion. The behind the scenes staff, management etc are not from UK but any customer facing staff are from the UK originally.

I have done the package 3x since COVID. All three time were handled exactly the same. All package guests were seated on the upper patio with direct views to the lagoon. The bottom patio tables were empty with "Reserved" signs on them. Food was timed that you could get your dessert at your existing table if you wanted to stay there or the corresponding table on the lower patio. I would say most moved to the lower patio, some did not.

NO ONE that did not have a package came out on the patio areas that faced the lagoon. There were some folks doing regular dining on the side portion of the upper porch, and there was the small roped off area outside the restaurant by the small garden viewing area.

*When I asked why we were not seated on the lower patio to begin with they said because of unpredictable weather. They had problems with bad weather coming in and since they had sat regular diners in upper covered patio there was no where for package guests to go. Now the upper and lower is reserved for the package, not available to regular diners for viewing.

If I have a reservation close to fireworks but not a fireworks package how does the seating work? I know any patio seating is first come first served but is there an option for any dinner guest to go to the outdoor patio to view the fireworks?
Were you able to view the fireworks outside R&C without the fireworks dining package?

Just wanted to come here and say it is complete bull plop that both patios are now reserved for bull plop upcharges. Such a frustrating state of affairs in the swamp.
