rose and crown illuminations

We have a 7:30 ADR for a 9pm showing. If we are seated on time and finish eating early, would we be allowed to stay in the private viewing area to watch? I certainly don't want to linger at the table and tie it up, but the only reason we are eating there at that time is for Illuminations. Thanks!

If you have a 7:30 ADR you will more than likely not get seated until about 7:45. We always let our server know that we plan on staying for illuminations. We order drinks and appitizers before we order our meal. We like to enjoy one course before another is brought out. Rose and crown is also a great place to have drinks over dessert.

If you tell the sever from the start your plan they will pace the meal according and you will be done just as the show starts.

I know we spend longer at the table so therefore the server loses a table that evening. We always compensate him/her for their lost table and leave a double tip (about 36%).

that's a nice gesture and i will try to do the same! turns out we now have the same ADR for 7:45 on 12/20, how funny is that! maybe we'll run into each other on the patio (fingers crossed!)

That is so funny. You will love it. It is so nice relaxing and watching the show without having to stake out a spot an hour ahead of time.
