Rose and Crown/Illuminations Question

Hello, I have a question for any experienced Rose and Crowners. We have reservations for 7:20 p.m. We will do the whole deal, appetizers, meal, dessert, and plenty of beer. We will still be able to watch Illuminations, or is that to early. Other people in our party have 7:00 on another night, do they have a chance at all?

I'm pretty sure the limit is 2 hours. Just make sure to tell you waiter that you want to stay for Illuminations so you can pace the meal. Appetizers, drinks, meal and dessert could easily be two hours. Of course I make sure to leave a really good tip if we're there that long.

We have an ADR for 7:15 and are hoping for a patio table (we've had one twice) again! Great view of Illuminations.

You should be fine. Just pace your dinner. When ate there I had 7:30 reservations and I just let the waitress know that we would like to be able to watch Illuminations. SHe just paced our dinner so we had dessert after the fireworks.

I am not trying to be "Debbie Downer" here,but in IMHO,the IllumiNations views at R&C are WAY over-hyped.

There are much better views in other areas of the Park IMHO.

It is just not worth going to a lot of trouble to watch it from there.

The view may be somewhat limited - we have been many times to EPcot but only ate at R&C last year for the first time & viewed illuminations. We really enjoyed it - just to be sat at our table with such a spectacular event taking place - it's just a different and very enjoyable way to watch the night time show - whilst resting very tired feet after a long day walking!

Oh - and the fish and chips were good too

Yes.I forgot about the fairly good chance of the wind blowing that way.Not fun when that happens.
