Rose and Crown Illuminations Dinner Times

I know there is no guarantee for patio seating, but what is the window for reservations to have the best chance at seeing Illuminations? I have options for booking - 7:25, 7:30, 7:45, 7:50.

We were planning on showing up early and telling them were are willing to wait.

We had reservations at 7:15. Didn't get a patio seat, but were escorted to a private (standing room only) patio for Illuminations. Timing worked out really well and we just did entrees and dessert. Admittedly, we didn't ASK for a patio seat...but I've read on the boards here that they don't honor those requests any more and since we were tired and ready to sit, I chose to not fight that battle. LOL

The 7:30 time slot in years past has worked well for us. I'm one of those people who used to ask for a water seat but after the last time (Feb. 2015) I probably wouldn't recommend it! We asked and waited and received a wonderful waterside seat in Sept. 2014 but when I tried in Feb. 2015 we waited a long time (half hour or so?) and then were seated right behind the check in desk. What I would call one of the worst seats in the place. We are booked again for our upcoming trip in Feb. at 7:30 and I think I will just take what we are given. Lesson learned

I think it's going to depend on the schedule for IllumiNations and how much you plan to order. I'd book for 60 minutes prior to IllumiNations; 90 minutes if you're planning a large, long meal.
