DH and DD really want to eat here next trip. I have looked at the menus and think all would be fine except DD (age 11) now orders off the adult menu for the most part. She doesn't eat the hot dogs, burgers and pb&j like younger brother. Didn't look like much she'd eat other than the roasted chicken on the dinner menu, does anyone know if this is a regular item on the dinner menu? And is R&C kid friendly? Do you prefer to sit in or outdoors?

TIA:D

Any time we have eaten there the restaurant has been full of kids. We took our DS when he was 17 months old and it was very comfortable. We prefer to sit outside but it all depends on the weather; if its 90 degrees I don't think I would choose to eat on the patio.

I am not sure about whether or not the menu changes.

Rose & Crown Pub is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. WE eat here on every visit. We always try to get a table outside, it is the only WS restaurant that you can sit outside. I think your daughter will like the chicken or prime rib if she likes steak. They also have cottage pie which is not on there dinner menu, but if you ask them they will make her one.

Yes she loves steak and you're right she probably would eat prime rib. I had been leaning toward Le Cellier because I thought she would find more to eat there but she really is interested in London and since we are not likely to get to the real London soon this would be a nice subsitute.:D From the pictures I've seen it looks like R&C has more atmosphere than Le Cellier... is this true?

Yes, I think R&C has more atmosphere than LC, but they are both very good restaurants. We always enjoy eating outside at R&C on a nice day or evening. The starters & desserts are very good at R&C too.

The last two times we've eaten at Rose and Crown (both this summer) my DD has ordered the roasted chicken from the kid's menu. It is not listed on Deb's site, but it is most definitely on the kid's dinner menu. It comes with a full size roasted chicken breast, large portion of mashed potatoes, peas, and a kid's drink. My DD also orders tea. Just another option if she may not like the stuffing and spices of the adult dinner. However, if she likes steak, the prime rib (on the adult menu) is wonderful also.
Very kid friendly - we love this rest.:)

pooh.kim, thanks for that info... a kid sized portion of the roasted chix would be great for her. She can't eat an adult portion but is outgrowing all the kiddie foods. I am looking forward to trying this resturant out!:D
