An early start today as it was our last day. We had breakfast at 7.30 and it wasnt as busy as the day before. There seemed to be a problem with the orange juice machine as it was very pale and watery. It also took 3 attempts to find a milk for my cereal as all the machines seemed to be empty but we watched someone sorting that out as we were eating breakfast. The meet and greet was Pluto so DS went to see him. DS had a new POTC cap so Pluto took this and put it on. We went back to the room to pack and then went to reception to check out and return the kettle. We went to the shop to get the photo but the numbers on the slips the photographer gave us were wrong so it took ages to find the right one. We were back in the shop in the afternoon and they were still having the same problem. We put the luggage into left luggage and then went to the park. We walked through the Cheyenne on the way and decided were going to try it next.
I did some shopping in Main Street while DH and DS went for another go on Buzz. Wed bought the photo of SM2 the day before so they were going to get the photo for this if it was good so DS made DH put down his blaster in time for the photo to be taken. I said I would meet them at the photo shop at the end of the ride. It took ages for them to come off and they said it had stopped so the scores had gone to zero, this was a shame as these were the best scores, DH was the champion.
We went to Fantasyland to go to the sweetshop but it didnt open until 11 so we went to the labyrinth instead. From the top of the castle we could see Belles Christmas market being prepared.
We went to the sweetshop. Wed got a couple of the 2 euro coins the evening before, the one with the castle and Mickey and the 2006 one. DS decided we should get all the lands so we got main street and fantasyland and then did a mad dash to Adventureland for their one and the into Frontierland . On the way back to discovery land we saw the cavalcade again and DS got sweets from Peter Pan and a pink witch.
DS wanted to get a SM2 pin so I went to the shop by the ride to look for this and the coin. I left DS and DH getting hotdogs for lunch, DS and I were going to share one but by the time Id done my shopping DS had eaten the whole thing. By now it was time for us to leave the park, so we walked slowly to the village to get baguettes at New York Sandwiches for at the airport.
We got back to the Santa Fe and got the luggage and packed the extra shopping into the cases. We got the VEA at 1.30 and were in plenty of time for our flight, I always think we could have had more park time, but I suppose Id rather be at the airport than stuck in traffic.
We had an uneventful flight and got back to Newcastle and got the car by 7.30. We had to listen to NUFC vs. Fenerbahce on the radio on the drive home, with a stop for chips on the way. Back home just before 10.
