DAY 3-Tuesday 17th October 2006
Cast-Me- Julie(41)
DH-Tommy(49)
DS-Rory(10)
All awake by 7 and we made our way to the park for the Fantasyland Breakfast. We should have left earlier as the queues were long to get into the park. We walked up to Fantasyland and there was another queue to get into Chalet au Marionette . It was so busy that we couldnt see any empty tables so decided to grab breakfast then hope one had become free. Some people were sitting at the tables outside but we found some more seating along a corridor. We quickly ate our breakfast and were just leaving the restaurant when they announced park opening.
We went straight to Peter Pan and while I got FPs for later DS and DH went to Dumbo. Then it was the teacups (which everyone else spins and then I feel sick when we get off!) We went to join the queue for the carousel and then we saw some characters . DS already had autographs and photos of them so we didnt bother, then we saw Suzy and Perla so we ducked under the ropes and ran round to see them.
Then it was time for Peter Pan, we came off deciding it was so dark now that we didnt know what all the fuss was about as you couldnt make out much.
From there we went to Frontierland. DS and I got FPs for BTM which were for 12.30-1.00. Wed decided to try Lucky Nugget for lunch and as the park had been busy the day before and with all the queues for the Fantasyland breakfast thought it would be best to book. DS saw the cabin for the hairdressers so he wanted to do this. I left him in the queue there with DH and went to the Lucky Nugget to book a table but there didnt seem to be anyone about so I went to City Hall and booked it there for 1.30.
Got back to Frontierland and they were still waiting! I had a wander around the shops and then swapped with DH. When DS had been done we went to Buzz but the wait was going to clash with BTM so DS and DH did Orbitron and by this time the FPs for Buzz were for 3.30-4.00 so got them.
We went to ride BTM, couldnt remember getting wet going up the slope before. By this time it was nearly time for Lucky Nugget so we wandered over. The Pumpkin Men were on the prowl so DS got a photo.
Lunch at the Lucky Nugget was lovely, we must have tried a little bit of everything. We had lots of characters and the band was playing too. DS was fascinated by the trombone player as hes just started learning to play. I had a cocktail (non alcoholic) and it was lovely, DS loved it too and had to have one of his own when hed finished his coke.
From there we went to Buzz and while the boys did this I had a coffee and sat in the sun.
DS then decided he wanted to go to the Studio. He wanted to do Flying Carpets and on the way there we saw Woody peeking around the corner of Animagique with a finger to his lips. We went across to see him but he ran away so DS went to see Jessie instead as shed just come. Then DS saw Woody and he spotted his pins which included Jessie and he put an arm around DS and took him to see her and show her the pins. We did wonder where he was taking DS. Jafar and Genie then appeared so DS tried to get autographs and photos with them.
From there we went to Flying Carpets and then Studio Tram Tour. The water seemed to come right across the carriage now. We went to find the motorbike which makes a noise when its sat on but it wasnt there but we found the umbrella instead. DS and I did Armageddon , then we went back to Flying Carpets and did it twice. When the Studio closed we went back to the park. Had another go on Buzz and then as we were leaving the park they were announcing park closing.
We went straight through the village to the garage, we were still stuffed from lunch so decided to buy baguettes and crisps for back in the room later. Had to wash DSs hair to get all the orange out and then bed.
