RORF How Long

Our RORF was sent to Disney on June 26 and we still have not gotten an answer. How long does it usually take. I know with our first resale it only took 2 weeks, so I am concern it is taking so long.

We signed on June 16, and found out July 23rd. It usually takes about 3 weeks, according to Jaki, although she said many times they find out sooner.

The person who was doing the ROFR reviews did retire at the end of June and they told Jaki that they were behind. So there may be a slight delay there.

Jonathan, if I were you I'd really be checking with my broker. We used Jaki at A Timeshare Broker. She called with our approval yesterday and she had only taken to Disney two weeks ago.

At what $ is Disney excercising their ROFR, now days?

I think it varies by resort. Maybe even by contract.

There is usually a bottom line # that Disney will not let any contracts be sold on the resale market for less than or they buy it back.

It was $72 at point, for 90 points. I was paying all the closing. Nothing banked. This year points still available.

Also, I see people getting answers in 2 or 3 weeks, so I am concerned mine is going on 5 weeks.

Oops!! Sorry, I should have said we offered on June 16 and CLOSED July 23rd. We found out July 15th or so!!

Lol, now to REALLY confuse everyone: We found out about waiver of ROFR on July 11th. I finally did what I should have done and just looked it up

I too am waiting on a 90 point contract okw. Was sent to disney on july 6th.....Ive seen a fair amount of resales coming back at the 3 week mark....I guess we have to sit here and wait...and wait.....and wait......Good Luck to you
