I’ve never stayed onsite (always had a car offsite) so just trying to wrap my head around logistics using WDW transportation for rope dropping or a PPO breakfast.

If the buses and FW boat don’t start until 45 - 30 mins before park opening, how does anyone get to the park 1 hour early? I know with the boat, we can take it from FW to Contemporary then walk to MK starting at 6:45.

I’m sure it’s an easy answer but I just can’t figure out how we will get to the other parks 1 hour before they open.

FYI, I moved your post to the Transportation board. Buses generally start rolling every day of the year around 6:30am, and earlier when events/park hours/conditions warrant (no matter what it says in any Disney guide, literature, or what any CM tells you). Buses that early may not be that frequent, but they are around. Bus is generally going to be your best option for PPO ADR activities.

From FtW to MK, I believe boats start 30 minutes before opening. However, in addition to the boats to CR starting earlier, there is one earlier run direct to the MK. You'll have to ask a boat captain for the departure time; I don't think anyone else will have reliable info on it.

You can also catch a bus to WL and transfer there to a bus to MK. Again, ask a FtW internal shuttle bus driver for the best info on when daily service starts.

My stays have been at POP, not FW, but I rely exclusively on Disney transport and have had no trouble getting to PPO breakfasts, rope drop, or EMM. The buses always start running earlier than they say they do.

Looking at the times guides, it makes it look almost impossible to get to the parks early.

If we stay onsite, we are not doing a rental car so I want to be assured we won’t miss RD or PPO ADR’s.

It is not impossible. It is 100% possible, and likely if the guest is willing to be out waiting for transportation. You might have missed this response from @GADisneyDad14:

Buses start around 6:30 AM every. single. day. except when parks open at 7 or earlier. Then, buses will start to that park an hour prior to opening.

If you have a transportation question onsite, ask a Transportation CM.
