Rope Drop with car. Any time adjustments?

When rope dropping with a car are there any time allowances you need to add for each park?

I would show up to TTC for the MK about 60 minutes before park opening. That is because you will have to still take the monorail or ferry after you park. I would show up about 30-45 minutes before any other park opening just to be safe. Other people might have more accurate times though.

I will say if you want to Rope Drop the MK during the busiest times of the year (4th of July/Christmas/New Years), plan to be at the MK TTC parking entrance about 90 minutes before park opening. I have seen the traffic horrendously bad from the monorail heading to EPCOT.

MK is the only park where you'd want to give yourself extra time if driving. You'll need to take a ferry, monorail or bus to the MK from the TTC.

The other parks are easy peasy.

I text it to my husband (or he texts it to me.) We find it much faster than having to find the picture.

I don't text (I know, I'm a dinosaur), so I put it row number in the calculator on my phone. Works every time.

We don't rope drop anymore, but when we did, as noted above the only one where you need a few extra minutes is MK.

Add an extra 15 minutes for the ferry. We just got back and they never offered the monorail option for people coming from or headed back to the TTC. The ferry will probably be quicker on more crowded days than ours though - our ferry waited until it was reasonably full to leave whereas on a crowded day it would fill up much faster. We drove to every park all week and found it to be an very easy and convenient process. No issues at all. Absolutely do not let the parking attendants talk you into the preferred parking - if you are early the regular parking is probably in Aladdin, only a couple rows over from preferred.
