Planning on being at the 10:00 rope drop at Toontown to get in line for Tink and friends. How early should I get there? I was thinking 9:30 or so, but I didn't want to make my little ones wait too long. Could I get away with 9:45?

Also, we're planning on doing morning EMH at AK and heading over to Everest right away. DH and I would like to take turns riding with DD6. By the time one of us is done with the first ride, what will the lines be like for the second person to go on with her? We have never done EMH's there, so I'm not sure what the crowds for Everest are like at rope drop.

Thanks in advance!

Okay, will do. I guess I'd rather wait at the rope drop then inside. At least outside I know when I'm getting in!

Three weeks ago we got to toontown at 9:45, just as it opened. We made a bee-line for Tinkerbell and the wait time was already 75 minutes.

Make sure you ask for a rider switch pass, so you won't have to stand in the stand by line the second time.

75 minutes???!!!:scared1: Wowza! What time should we get there, then?

Will do the rider switch. Forgot about that. Thanks!

Will there be potential for my children to be knocked down and run over by a rushing mob? :lmao: I'm just trying to picture how crazy it's going to be.

Nah...

It wasn't crazy, just busy.

Oh, and by the way, we did not wait for Tink. Not matter how much I wanted to meet her (and I really, really did,) it wasn't worth standing in line for over an hour.

Really? You left? I don't want to have to do that, and I'm scared that's what it will come down to. Any advice, aside from getting there by 9:30, that would help us get in line right away?

Stupid question alert:

so Toontown has a different rope drop than the rest of Magic Kingdom?

We were there a month ago. I got the Toontown Rope drop and was there around 9:40, lots of others too but not crazy. They came over did a small cute thing and said if You are going to Fairies follow this CM, princesses this CM. Everyone followed right behing her and nobody was running or crazy that I saw. We were the second family in and by the time we got out it was about an hour wait already.
You should be fine if yiou make sure to get to Toontown by 9:30. I know Spring breaks are still going on and next week is a big week for the East to go.
