Just got back from the parks and found rope dropping the parks to be very advantageous. This was my first time doing rope drop. Has it always been so advantageous to rope drop?

Yes! Pre-covid, typically I’d get 1-3 “big rides” done before long lines formed. It’s especially helpful during busier times(the only time I can usually visit due to work).

That's what I was hoping to hear. Thanks

Pre-Co-vid, absolutely! With Rope Drop, we could ride 3-6 head liner rides in the first 2 hours easily at most parks.
Post Co-Vid, we haven't been back yet, so not sure.

Pre-covid, if I got to MK before the park opened and did a rope drop, I could ride a good half the park before the lines really started to develop and I could cover most of the park by 1pm if not earlier. I hate crowds, so i would often try to be done before 1-2, when the crowds got unbearable for me.

Absolutely, and especially when parks would open at 8am. I saw the most benefit at AK, I would get done with Pandora before the park's official opening time and basically be done with rides before noon.
