Rope Drop Pooh or HM?

DH, DS (15 months), and I are headed to WDW in July. We are going to DHS/MK one day (tackling pirates, JC, BTMRR with Rider Switch) that afternoon. When we go back to MK we are rope dropping but watching the morning show. Should we go to Pooh or HM first? Does it matter? We have a FP for PP, Buzz, 7DMT (rider switch), and Space Mountain (RS). I want to try and get in most of fantasy land that morning and then add more FP for the afternoon. Which ride are we more likely to find a FP for is I guess what I’m asking also is HM too scary for him? I know that Pooh has lots of interaction in the line that he will love so I’m leaning towards HM first? He is typically very happy, easy going, and isn’t scared of much of anything that we know of yet. Thanks for any thoughts!

I wouldn't rope drop either. Both are super easy to get FP+ for. If I had to pick one for RD, it would be HM.

Neither are super high priority BUT sometimes the benefit of knocking out some of these easy to access rides is that you have more time to either repeat a ride or two OR take a few more breaks throughout the day. We have done all of Tomorrowland in a bit more than an hour at rope drop and we never had to go back that day - a plus on a hot day! Every plan is different - make your list of must-do rides and figure out which order makes sense for you. Keep in mind what the line experiences are like too. This is especially true on a hot day - I'm looking at you Jungle Cruise!

Since you mentioned RS, you might want to read up on some of the recent changes. SDMT has been one in the past where people have reported both parties needing a FP. I haven't seen much about how it's working with the new digital system, but there's a chance it won't work out getting both SDMT and Space.

Of your list, I'd rope drop Jungle Cruise, especially since your questioning HM being too scary, best to put that in later in the day closer to when you might be leaving anyway, if the stretch room freaks him out, just exit before riding

Thanks so much for all your suggestions!!! I reread my post and realized I said somethings wrong :worried: We have a fast pass for JC, pirates, BTMRR, 7DMT, PP, Buzz, and Space over the course of a day and a half. We are planning to Ride Switch only the rides DS can’t get on (7DMT, BTMRR, and Space). Good to know about new rider switch information as I only got 1 FP got for all 3 of the bigger rides and now there aren’t any FP left for mine train o_O if we can’t ride switch Mine Train maybe we should have one of us rope drop that to guarantee we both get to ride it.

I love Pooh so much and my kids did too at that age. I would go first thing and ride it a few times in a row - I'm sure your son will love it.
