Rope drop Epcot/Skyliner ??

Trying to figure out my plans for Epcot. Can you help?
Planning to rope drop (9:00am) in October. Should we:
Take bus from POR to Epcot main gate to rope drop FEA?
Or
Take bus from POR to HS then Skyliner to Epcot IG to rope drop FEA?
Thoughts?

A good plan would be to arrive at the Epcot front gates bag check by 8:15AM.
That means you want to be at POR bus stop by 7:45, or so.
Can you arrive later?
Yes.
But, you never know.
And, it is better to arrive far too early than to arrive one minute too late,

Are you planning on doing EMH at DHS BEFORE EP? That is the only reason to take the skyliner. I’m not even sure if the skyliner even goes directly from DHS to EP. Definitely, take the bus.

It does not. All gondola are based at CBR, where transferring is required (unless that's your from/to location.) Three routes:
Between CBR and Generation Gap Bridge
Between CBR and DHS
Betwden CBR and Epcot, via RivieraIt

Really, the only reason to go from POR to Epcot via DHS is to experience the gondola. Bus from POR to DHS, gondola from DHS to CBR, gondola from CBR through Riviera to Epcot. Compare that to (direct) bus from POR to Epcot.

Also, the walk from the front entrance to FOE, and the walk from the IG are not that much different in length believe it or not!

Not certain, but given what the PP said, it's probably just a typo (or auto-correct) for FEA (Frozen Ever After).

Maybe an abbreviation for Front of Epcot? Though it wouldnt make sense in this case.
