First trip where are kids have hit 40" so new rides are open to them, and thus more to squeeze into our day. Help me think through our rope drop plans.

Planning to rope drop Epcot- all advice we've read has said to quickly do Test Track, then head to Soarin (we have a FP for FEA). I've never been through the regular line at Test Track , only single rider. I know my kids will want to design their own cars- is that still doable with the rope drop crowd? Are there other things to do in the queue? DS LOVES cars so I don't want to skip anything he might enjoy. (another issue is that my kids love the cars at the end of the ride- they could easily spend hours playing in that room. I feel like we'll have to drag them out of the room. This is less of an issue though, as we can head back there after making our way through the future world).

Does this plan make sense:

Test Track
Soaring
Livin with the Land
Nemo (FP) 10:15-11:15
Figment
Colortopia
TT-play with cars
Spaceship Earth (FP 11:50-12:50)
Biergarten Reservation at 1.

Now for HS- we have 8 am breakfast reservation for H&V (we're not worried about meeting all the characters, if one takes too long). We plan to sign the kids up for the JTA 10:10 show, so need to be there at 9:40. We'd like to go on TSMM and meet Buzz/Woody. Which is better to do first? Does this seem doable?

Your HS plan was the exact same as ours in mid-May. 10:10 Jedi training sign up, H&V breakfast @ 8, then rope drop TSMM. We were able to do all of that and make it in time for the 9:40 Jedi Training meeting. However, we didn't have time to meet Buzz/Woody. By the time we left TSMM, the wait was more than 30 minutes and I could tell there were a lot of people in the line so we had to skip it.

Well, we have a FP for TSMM later in the day (and do we still get one when we sign up for JTA? I know we did last year) so I think I'll prioritize Buzz and Woody. We've never done that M&&G because the line is always too long (or at least longer than we want to wait).
