Rope Drop at Epcot- which ride first?

With the tiering at Epcot, there are more "Tier 1" rides that we want to do then we can get fast passes for. So RD is a must for us. But what ride do you head to? We also really want to meet Joy and Sadness... should we head there first? Is that open first thing in the morning?

Thanks!

I take it you only have 1 day at Epcot?
And when are you going? Will Frozen attractions be open?
That's going to change things up drastically.

at Rope Drop, you should be able to do both Soarin and Test Track with not much wait..

We will be going in November, and yes the Frozen ride is definitely a priority. As is TT, Soarin and possibly the Anna/Elsa meet and greet (going to see if I can get away with skipping it but DD might not allow that!)

We technically have 3 days at Epcot, but one of those days we are just coming in the evening to do the food and wine festival. We could possibly squeeze a ride in there, but we are staying at Epcot resorts and therefore weren't really even planning to go over to FW since we only have a couple of hours there that day.

So we have 2 Rope Drop days we could make.

I would at least make a FP for a tier one attraction on that day.

With Two RD days I'd do the following:

Day 1:
RD Soarin'
FP+ Anna & Elsa M&G

Day 2:
RD Joy & Sadness M&G
FP+ Test Track

Sounds like the perfect day for the Frozen Ride FP since it is in the Norway Pavilion.

If your family doesn't mind being flexible, I would RD Soarin', do Single Rider on Test Track (this is where it depends on your family being flexible. You will likely not be seated together, but you will probably have at least two in the same car if not the same row) and FP Frozen if that is a priority for you. Otherwise, I would RD Soarin', Single Rider Test Track, and FP Test Track to ride again as a whole group. I do think that the new theater in Soarin' will help with capacity and that the Standby line will drop because of it, while TT does not have an expanded capacity.
