I saw a CBR king size bed video and the bathroom did not have a tub - it looked like it could handle a wheelchair.

Does any moderate resort have rooms with a king size bed and a tub/shower combo in the bathroom?

Do the DVC studios have a room with a king size bed and a tub/shower combo in the bathroom ?

What about deluxe and values?

Thank you

My wife and I stay at the All Star Music every year and we always get a king size with a tub/shower combo.

I think the only room with a Bookable King Bed category is one of the Port Orleans resorts (Had to look it up, it's French Quarter). All others are requests. They are not all Handicapped

I want to say the Coronado has king size beds too. If I can remember my husband and I got one a few years ago.

All of the moderates (Coronado, French Quarter, Riverside, Caribbean Beach) have King Bed as a bookable category now. King beds at the moderates are no longer a request, you need to book it. So they say that if having a King Bed when staying at the moderates is the most important then you do need to specifically book a King room. The King Bed rooms have views in each of the different view categories. So you would then book the King Bed room and call to request a view (garden, water/pool/lake/river, standard). Each of the moderate resorts do have King Bed rooms with a tub/shower combo.

I just looked up with Port Orleans showed King beds. Riverside did not have them as a bookable category, just French Quarter. I didn't check others. So not all have them posted online as bookable, at least not yet. Maybe this is a change coming soon?

POR randomly assigned me to a King room a number of years ago when I was visiting solo for a business trip. It had the tub/shower and was in Alligator Bayou

Port Orleans Riverside has king beds as a bookable category. I booked one last night. ;)

We also were given a king bed in our garden view room at the YC and a king bed in our lagoon view room at the BC. Both rooms had a regular tub/shower, just like all the other non-handicapped rooms. But they weren't a bookable category and we didn't request them. They gave them to us as a surprise. :)

POR rooms have King with normal bathroom accommodations as does CBR, CSR, and French Quarter.

Most of the Polynesian king size bed rooms are not Handicap Accessible rooms.

I got a King Size at POP and the room was handicap accessible

At POP
King Bed Rooms accommodate up to 2 people, plus one portable crib for an infant (defined as a child under 3). This category has a total of 144 rooms; of which 63 are Handicap Accessible. All floors have regular and handicap accessible King rooms; however the 4th floor King rooms are only HC.

ive booked king size beds my past two stays. 2013 was at French quarter 2014 at riverside. my upcoming 2015 reservation is king bed also. I believe I booked king bed for cbr a few years back also. possibly whoever is looking up the room fares is just stumbling upon a time that the king bed catergory is booked up. each time I had a king bed we had standard bathroom set up. there will be some handicapped accessible, but not all. my guess is you are more likely not to get one if it is not needed, but it depends on what is left for inventory
