Rooms to request at BWV

My husband and I have been DVC members for two years and this fall will be our first trip staying at BWV. We have reservations for a 1 bedroom villa with a standard view. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what rooms to request? We would like to be near the "main" building. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

It's a long-shot, but try asking for room x123 (any of the 3 rooms ending with 123). They are extra-large, dedicated one-bedroom units across from the bus stop. They feature an extra-large 'wrap-around' balcony.

Avoid the x121 and x101 rooms as they have large trees obstructing the view of the Illuminations fireworks.

We stayed at room 5017 (Boardwalk View 1 bdrm) for our first trip at BWV and instantly fell in love. There was a double balcony -- off the living room and bedroom, connected and perfect view of Spaceship Earth, the Boardwalk, Illuminations. I have ordered myself to memorize that room number!

There is only one building at BWV, but it has several wings to it. The standard view rooms have a view of the front drive and parking lot. You can always request near an elevator since there is only one set of elevators somewhat centrally located.
